So I just finished watching Life’s Punchline.
And boy, do I have so many feelings about it honestly.
This probably the first show that I have laughed so hard with and also the first show that I cried so hard with as well.
Brilliant and sharp writing.
Stellar acting and casting.
Most of all, as someone who is also in their late 20s, I absolutely relate to it.
I just want to thank the creators of the show for making this splendid show.
I mean, as someone in their late 20s, I guess we are all asking ourselves if we did the right thing. Is this where I want to be?
As for Macbeth, eventhough they weren’t “successful”, I’m still glad that the characters did it. The 10 years was not a waste.
Thanks for showing that you don’t really fail at life. You can just pivot and have new dreams or aspirations. Thanks for showing that even if you get hurt, you can take the time to heal and put yourself out there again. Thanks for showing that you can just start fresh again. Thanks for showing that we can make our life decisions on whims just as long as we are moving forward.
Thanks for acknowledging our uncertainty and fears. Thanks for acknowledging our disappointment of what adulthood holds. Thanks for showing that sometimes you can chase dreams and they still won’t come true but atleast you tried.
Thanks for showing that what really matters is the friends and family we make along the way. It’s the journey that really matters and that we need to keep taking one step at a time.
Thank you for coming into my life at a time when I feel like a fresh start is needed.
Thank you for reminding me that shows/music have saved my life over and over again and it will continue to do so.
Just thank you for everything.
This has been a great show. I have much love for Macbeth and the Nakahama sisters. Sometimes I forget they aren’t real.
Sometimes I laugh so hard at their stupid silly conversations that I truly feel like I’m apart of it eventhough I’m not.
Thank you for being there when I needed this most.
