Velvette x Fallen!Lute (DollDivine) AU
Vox and Val both get their own independent toxic codependent hatelove dynamics, why shouldnāt Vel? I am all for my PolyVees, and Velmilla is well-known and loved, but we need something worse, something on par with Valangel and Radiostatic in terms of sheer psychological struggle yet entirely unique and, above all, Yuri.
Enter Fallen!Lute. Blinded by rage and grief strong enough to betray everything but her heart. Plummeting to Hell with nothing but internalized biphobia and her gorgeous wingsā oh, never mind, one got snagged on a rooftop :) surely nothing bad will happen to a bleeding, manic fallen angel with one tattered wing and severely misplaced fealty landing right in the middle of the Veesā territory!
Iām sure Vox spots her first, but Val and Vel will swoopā Velās just in it for that wing, initially, but when she sees herā¦ what a beautiful, broken thing. More human than Vel could ever be and yet tearing at her own skin to rid herself of the agony that is such all-consuming feeling. A captive angel. No doubt theyāll each have their plans for her (and more than a few should include muzzling her foaming rage of blasphemies and damnation), but truly I think Velvette could appreciate her most of all, and while I want to explore this AU much more than I can in this post, Iāll lay these facts out for all of your considerations:
Velvette needs to be adored. She has a princess complex through and through, and who better to cater to her than a woman whose entire identity is to serve? A guard dog with a one-track mind, Velvette could never want for more.
Lute is incredibly, incredibly sick. Repression and trauma and a myriad of psychological complexes entirely surrounding the idea of a man so utterly Capital S Shitty. She needs someone to work through this, but I doubt any group therapy sessions could work it out of her well enough, especially not when we have Miss Manipulation, Algorithms, Deepest Secrets Exposed on the case. Not to mention how much repression can be violently fixed by the sheer existence of Valentino, and whatever nonmonogamous QPR nonsense Vel gets up to all the time. It doesnāt mean Lute has any ācompetitionā for her heart.
They both have a need for approval and self-image issues to the Extreme. Lute wants to project the image of devotion onto Vel, Vel wants to project the image of adoration. They need to be beautifulā physically or spiritually, it doesnāt matter. Always performing for someone elseās approval. Mourning humanity vs. wanting to shed it more than anything. Lute needs to indulge, to become messy and selfish, and what better way to do so than the wonderful realm of social media? Velvette needs to be adored, to be told she is enough, to be taken care of, and who better to do that than the Lieutenant of Heaven herself?
The ugliest, messiest sexual tension youāve ever seen. A ragingly repressed homophobe, a selfish scathing no-nonsense bitch. Lute needs to imagine Adam, she also needs to fuck Vel into next week. Guard dog for her pleasure but also Velvette showing her pleasure that she couldāve never imagined. Stone top x pillow princess, but Velās fully in control. Thereās also of course Actual Murder Attempts, during sex and outside of it, because would they be the Vees without it?
Lute butch arc NOW. Get that grey dress off girl, Velvette will find your style for you. You can wear Adamās halo as a choker collar, it can match your sleek industrial leash. And exorcist blood is a great natural fabric dye.
