game canon can say what it likes but city elves have their own andrastian traditions that superficially align with the practices outside the alienage but have really telling distinctions if u know where to look. to me.
feastdays are all dedicated to the names of andraste, her rebellion and her disciples but the dates and traditions seem to have some interesting overlap with the dalish holiday calendar.
there are no explicit mentions of exile, but allegorically it is baked into everything. references to the dales and arlathan are there, but only if you squint. for all intents and purposes they could just be references to the golden city. the wellspring of all.
carved figures of andraste are passed down the family. they are hollowed out. something has been tucked into the base a long time ago. you’d never find it if you didn’t know to look — and maybe some families have forgotten! but it’s still there. it’s being kept safe. and one day someone might find it again :)
