There’s new clips (presumably from the second half of season 1) in this music video they released on YouTube and I need to rant about a few things.
First of all, where is this? It looks like the Knights field. But if it is then a lot of time must have passed because it’s covered in snow. Looks like we’ll be getting winter versions of their uniforms so that’s cool.
Is that the tama leech monster? It better not touch my girl! They’re wearing their uniforms so are they in the middle of a game? Or maybe this is right before or after one. Maybe we’ll find out where that thing came from.
The video frames this as part of a showdown between Key and Ragno but it’s possibly a misdirect. Either way Key appears to be in control of the dragon. At least for the moment.
It looks like Ragno’s tama is targeting the Dragons’ own goal keeper? Maybe I’m just not seeing it right, but it would be interesting if Ragno loses it and goes wild. Maybe because of jealousy at Key reaching his full potential.
This looks to be an intense moment. Interesting that Pregrina is there. And assuming this is from Key’s perspective, it’s nice to still see Odward there by his side. Hopefully that means he learns not to blame Key for what happened to Casper.
The video ends with Key and this egg. It’s different from the hatched blue egg we usually see the dragon coming out of in his mindscape thing. This also looks like the egg at the end of the credits in every episode. Maybe the dragon has to be reborn somehow. Or maybe the dragon we’ve been seeing is still his mom’s and he has to switch to his own new dragon.
