PERSON THEY CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT: Gonna start off simple and say Kai, his brother from another mother and best friend. It literally pains Jongin to even think about living without Kai, so there’s no doubt about how much pain he’d be in if he had to live without him. I would say Jongin would rather die than be without Kai.
PERSON WHO NEVER FAILS TO MAKE THEM SMILE: Kai again. No matter what mood he’s in or what has happened, if Kai says anything or does anything to try and cheer Jongin up, best believe Jongin is cheesing like the biggest idiot in the world.
PERSON THEY FEEL SAFE TO BE VULNERABLE AROUND: Jongin feels safe to show his most vulnerable side about Kai and his cousin, Suzy. But because he used to live with Kai, Jongin always went to him to cry and talk about his problems without worrying about judgment.
PERSON THEY WANT TO SPEND THEIR LIFE WITH: Jongin doesn’t really think about it much because he’s positive it’ll never happen, but Kai is who he’d want to spend his life with. It’s strange because he had this feeling long before imprinting on him and since he has, the feeling and want is stronger.
PERSON THEY FEEL THEY NEED TO PROTECT: Kai. No fucking doubt about it. Jongin is a bit too overprotective over him and there’s so many reasons behind it. Kai’s humanity plays a role in how Jongin acts along with him being Jongin’s “imprintee”. A wolf will do anything to protect their loved one, even to the death if necessary.
PERSON THEY ARE AFRAID TO BE REJECTED BY: Jongin is afraid of being rejected by Kai even though he’s mentally prepared himself for it? Like I said, he doesn’t believe that Kai will choose him, nor does he believe he’ll be mated to him. The fear will be there and it’s only normal.
PERSON THEY’D TAKE SHIT FROM & NOT MIND: He’ll take anything from Kai and not mind one bit. Hurting his imprintee is something Jongin tries very hard not to do (mentally, physically, verbally, etc.) and if anything, he’ll be trying to fix whatever it was that caused him to get scolded. Same can’t be said if anyone else gave Jongin shit.
PERSON THEY WOULDN’T HESITATE TO KILL: His uncle, Joon Dae. He would kill that bastard so fast and not give a second thought.
PERSON THEY NEVER EXPECTED TO LIKE BUT NOW DO: Jongin doesn’t really a person that he didn’t expect to like but do? Unless it’s love related, Kai is someone Jongin didn’t expect to like in a romantic sort of way, but over time he began to fall in love with him.
PERSON THEY FEEL BETRAYED BY: His family. His entire family has done or is doing something that fucks up everything Jongin strives for, especially Joon Dae. Even some of his friends have betrayed him in the past and some have done it recently.
PERSON THEY RESPECT BUT DO NOT LIKE: His aunt, Hyeon. She’s an elder alpha female who feels like dictating Jongin’s life is a must. While he has to show respect, there’s still resentment for the woman nonetheless.
PERSON THEY FEEL LIKE THEY HAVE FAILED: Kai, himself, his duty as an alpha. All those things are bottled up inside him and while he strives to be a better person, there’s times where he feel like he could have done more. Imprinting on a human is against pack laws and so is not having a suitable mate to sire future pups to take his place once his time is up. Jongin would still give up everything, including his rank to be with Kai. But for now, he’s going to hopefully make a change to the laws.
