Well, hello. I usually paint portraits in oil. But now that I’ve got a tablet and PS, they open up the opportunity for artistic exploration that would normally take a long time via traditional methods. I don’t have to wait 2 days for a layer to dry for a start... so that’s encouraging.

Anyways, I like Good Omens. It also happens to be the perfect context to examine different art styles from Renaissance to Victorian times. I started this little historical Good Omens art series last month. Let’s begin with Golgotha Aziraphale and Crowley as Rembrandt style oil portraits :)

All m-spec identities are valid and distinct from one another. While there is overlap (I could identify as pansexual but prefer bisexual) that does not mean it is ok for anyone, especially monosexual people, to try and dictate which m-spec identity fits any particular person or tell them they should change how they identify. Don’t tell a pansexual person they’re really just bisexual. Don’t tell an omnisexual person they’re really just pansexual. Don’t tell a bisexual person that unless they identify as pansexual they’re transphobic. Don’t tell a polysexual person that they should just pick one of the “better known identities” if they want to be taken seriously. Respect all m-spec identities and the people who use them.

(Also any m-spec identities that I do not know about and did not include are just as fantastic and valid! I apologize if you do not see your identity here, let me know if you want something to be added <3)

I was doing couch research for fic reasons and I knew that Aziraphale’s couch had some sort of kitchy/chintzy throw blanket/quilts on there (part of that Gramma aesthetic) but I just….. I zoomed in on one of the stills and I just………….. I realized….

There are …. two blankets. One red and one blue.

The red blanket is on the left side of the couch…. the blue one is on the right….

THE CREW IS JUST GIVING US HIS AND HIS MATCHING BLANKETS???? AND NOT TELLING US? I CAN’T!!!! *lies down and weeps*

(Also that blue one is an EXCELLENT callback to Aziraphale’s Globe outfit even if the fabric isn’t a perfect match it’s still the right colors and the patterns are v similar… just much bigger on the blanket)

Both finger guns are definitely in the show. Is it too boring that I assumed it was because he was doing two miracles at once?

At the manor one to turn the paintball guns into real guns and one to make sure no one actually died. At the Bastille one to change the guy’s outfit and one one so the guards wouldn’t recognise him or question why he was suddenly dressed differently and about to get his head removed.

The turning the snaps into finger guns is just bisexual, though.
