I kinda abandoned this blog whoopsie, I’m over on @ambitious-tea mostly now, but I might occasionally post over here!
This blog will probably get mostly my maximum ride thoughts, and maybe a few other things I’m not gonna put on my main blog.
identifying as she/they is very new to me and something I’m a bit scared about. I’m a girl, and I’m comfortable being a girl, but I’m also comfortable with androgyny and they/them. I don’t know if there are certain things I should be feeling in order to identify as she/they, I’ve struggled with femininity my entire life and allowing myself to embrace both femininity and androgyny has felt incredible. Anyone have any tips? Advice? Ahhhhhh????
Uhhh update I’m definitely going by she/they but starting to learn more towards they/them because why not end off pride month with a continued gender crisis !!!

Book series darkling exhibits clear abusive behavior, from physically controlling Alina via PUTTING A COLLAR ON HER to isolating her from people who love her by telling her he’s the only one who will ever understand her. He’s purposefully keeping her away from those who care about her wellbeing and free will by manipulating her into thinking they will all fear her, they will want to lock her up, they can never understand her. Only he can. Only he will never fear her, only he, alone, can understand. And she shouldn’t question that, and she shouldn’t leave him.
And that’s only a small portion of what the darkling does.
so yeah, fuck the darkling. It’s been awhile since I’ve read this series but the main message still stands. He literally put a collar on her?!? He also doesn’t redeem himself.
Also as someone who disliked Alina in the books, having only seen the trailers for the series, I would die for tv show Alina
