apparently a lot of pro volleyball players don’t wear kneepads since you technically shouldn’t need them if you keep proper form! some players wear them just in case, but others find that not wearing them encourages them to be stricter with dives and rolls.

also? i just researched knee compression sleeves - bokuto’s knee pads- and the reason people wear them is so they can train harder and longer with a quicker recovery time.
