Poe switched him to increasingly better rooms, and eventually had no choice but to put Hux in his own captain's quarters. Even though Hux still complained nonstop, it was already the best room on the entire ship. Poe also had to complete with Hux for the only bed, but finally Poe chose to give the bed to his ailing nemesis and sleep on the chair until Hux suddenly said he could share the bed with Poe. Hux's condition did seem to be slowly improving so Poe started to relax. But a few days later, Hux became weak and bedridden again. In panic, Poe detected an unusually alluring sweet scent in the air. He suddenly realized that Hux was an omega and he was going into heat.
