these yarns feel very muted in comparison to my last couple of projects, but i think i'm satisfied w/ the cast on + construction - i'm combining the mosaic colourwork from the pressed flowers kerchief and the i-cord cast on + edges from the simple thing (both free patterns!); the main colour (A) is from an alpaca named 'chocolat', and the contrast (B) is riverside's corrosion in super sock

i've been trying out a few projects to see what would be suitable for this yarn - i bought another marled yarn at the same alpaca farm as chocolat and tried out the pressed flowers kerchief for the first time, but i think it worked up a bit too busy

then i tried making a little dot bandana with the brown DK, but the stockinette curled a bit too much for my liking - the original pattern uses a linen silk combo. i combined it w/ the corrosion sock yarn because of the alpaca yarn's silvery sheen, and the fact that they're both incredibly soft against the skin!
