You know I'm gonna say something that is so fucking controversial to this hellsite.

Adoptive siblings don't have to see each other as family. It's not automatic that their dynamic as people is a sibling one.

They didn't fucking choose to be put into that situation and it is entirely up to them whether or not they consider each other family, friends, or whatever they might decide to be.

It doesn't fucking matter if they get into a relationship.

Yeah, that's what I said; adoptive siblings can be together if they fucking want to.

You wanna know why?

THEY DON'T SHARE BLOOD.

It's not fair to say that they cannot get together, that it would be incest, that it's gross and immoral and disgusting, when it's not their fault that their circumstances led to them being adoptive siblings.

If they spent their time never once considering themselves siblings, then who the fuck cares what two consenting adults do later in life? I was almost adopted by my wife's parents when we were younger but I never fucking considered her a sister.

I don't see how Feferi was "fake". She means every word she says, AND THAT'S THE PROBLEM. She genuinely thinks she's helping. Also, her timing was bad, but if we're going to say "she shouldn't have broken up with Eridan because it was more stress for him", wouldn't pretending everything was fine and keeping up a relationship she didn't want been more stress for her?

I'm saying she should have put in effort into the relationship or TALKED ABOUT IT with him before the game started.

Feferi was very very fake in that she'd talk to Eridan and be like "hi erifin!! <>" While being the complete opposite in the background.

Like pretending to be invested in a relationship while simultaneously being like "I hate this guy I don want to be with him" is the fakest move out there

She refused to address the issue until she was given a chance via the game which was the Shittiest Time to put him through that. She doesn't even tell him WHY she is just like "let's not be pale anymore okay bye!" Which is just bad

Can we not suggest that being unhappy in a relationship makes Feferi a bad person? Eridan WAS hard to deal with. And I really don't think she "manipulated" Sollux at all. I could see her being a bit pushy because she is, but she's not Vriska.

It’s not just that Eridan was hard to deal with, it’s that she never gave him the chance. She openly shunned everything he tried to vent about.Eridan was not great either, I hated him the whole comic, but Feferi is not free of blame. She’s not Vriska, no, but she IS manipulative in other waysIt’s heavily implied she often pushed Sollux to talk about stuff with her and when other Sollux clearly didn’t want others to be near him during that time she called everyone over anyway.She was fake. That’s manipulative.I never said she was a “bad person”, just that she isn’t a perfect one. She coddles mentally ill coded people and lowbloods and also was just a pisspoor moirail.Even if someone is difficult you have to put in effort or else you should break it off with them sooner than in the middle of a game that was already stressful as all hell.
