Characteristics of the Species
Vulpes evanidum, the aptly named “vanishing fox”, is a species of North American true fox often thought to have gone extinct in the early 21st century. Characterized by their pale coats and reclusive behavior, sightings have historically been rare and initial confirmation of the species proved difficult. Sporadic eyewitness reports in recent years suggest that a solitary member of the species may yet persist…
Hello, I’m (pseudonymously) Cinder! There’s little in the way of original material here but I primarily reblog on a queue so there’s at least always something to see!
Most posts tend to be SFW-to-slightly suggestive furry art, animals (mostly wild, mostly fox), something about the horror genre, and something about various books and movies.
That said, I’m a young-ish adult that works a pretty mundane laboratory job following a half-hearted attempt at some misguided academic aspirations. I still love the physical sciences but I’ve been trying to focus more on getting back into interests I let fall by the wayside during my university years (and working on not feeling bad about it).
Above all else, I adore the horror genre and just about all it has to offer. I swap between reading a lot or watching movies a lot but what I read/watch hovers around the same territory (namely horror of all types, harder science fiction, literary fiction/drama based more in social realism and its extremes, and occasionally a bit of lighter fantasy). Eventually, things tend to come back around to horror though. 😉 If you want to talk about something I’ve reblogged or mentioned above (or just want to say hi for other imperceptible reasons), drop me a message! I love to hear about people’s interests or to just connect over common weirdness. 🦊
