Sketches from figure drawing session
Figure drawings from a couple weeks ago
Drawings from tonight’s drop in figure class.
You can tell I was focusing on the head because I kept drawing it too big!
Sketches from yesterday’s figure drop in class.
I went to a drop in figure drawing session tonight. It was the first time figure drawing probably since college. So refreshing...
I've been busing starting new paintings. Hoping to get some oils on the two canvas ones today.
This painting got totally crazy. Finished it the other night
“Purple syrup”
Oil and acrylic on canvas
9 x 12
Sketches for a Farm/Bed and Breakfast Logo that will be made into a stamp.
Progress shots of purple syrup painting. First I put down the blue glaze but the color wasn't working for me so I changed it to a pea green
Small painting from a couple years ago that I just added more oils to. Drying. #painting #oilpainting #oilandacrylic #glass #glasspainting #woodgrain #revisitedart #wetpaint #5x7 #floralfabric #stilllife #stilllifepainting #observationalart #abstractpainting #artwork
Current project. Jar of purple syrup. White and pink currants, black raspberries, strawberries, and sugar.
Not crazy about the background but we’ll see where it goes.
Probably calling it done
Went a little crazy last night. It was important to lay on the thick paint though, especially in the bottles because I was treating them like they were precious areas, and that’s never a good thing.
This painting is actually too colorful for my taste but I need to wait for it to dry to tone it down.
Did I kill it? Feeling like I should brighten up the shadows again with pastel colors
"Sauce" painting progress
Finished rye beer painting with grass stamped card
