Alternate plot where Shuri and Namor are negotiating after he says "the most broken people.." quote and Shuri is just like "well...it seems like the most logical alternative is for us to marry" and Namor is like 😶 and Shuri continues "I'm hot, you're hot, we're just 2 hot royals who don't want to go to war with each other. We need to do a chemistry test" she stands up and motions for him to do the same. He complies, inquiring, "chemistry test?" Shuri answers, "kiss me." He laughs like she's joking, but sobers when she stares expectantly. "You're serious?" She nods. He hesitates a moment then steps closer, setting his hands on her waist. Her hands gently grasp his biceps. "Wakanda forever" Her chin lifts and eyes close. This is serious, he will not take this opportunity lightly. "Imperius rex" he kisses her softly and slowly, wraps his arms around her and she wraps her around his shoulders, a hint of tongue and then more. Shuri's toes skimming the floor in their embrace. Her hands in his hair, he holds onto her neck, both keeping the other from breaking their mouths apart. Finally, a breathless Shuri has to come up for air. "Chemical compatibility confirmed"

Namor couldn't help but be flustered, his cheeks grew warm and a smile broke through. She folded her arms in expectation, raising her eyebrow. He scratched the back of his neck.
"Well?", She tapped her foot. His heart thumped so loudly in his ears that he was certain she could hear it. This was not how he thought this would go.
"It can't be proven just yet.", He pushed back his hair and met her gaze. Her stance wavered.
"What do you mean? That was perf-
He didn't let her finish. He snuck his hand under her jaw to pull her back in, for his lips to find hers again. Negotiations can be had afterwards. Her suggestion might be for the best. He felt her smile against his skin.
"I have to say", he mumbled as he kissed her.
"We do have chemistry.", he chuckled.
She couldn't possibly believe he would be naive enough to fall for her scheme. They had played eachother, getting the other to fall for the trap. The chillness in the caves evaporated for a warmth to settle in. War and creating chaos can wait. Important discussions were being made silently now. Her hand creeping up the side of his neck, his fingers tracing the length of her shoulder.
"So?", she asked as she pulled away, her lips feeling flushed and alive.
"Will you marry me?", she searched his eyes. To which he smiled, his gaze falling to her lips again. He leaned in.
"Give me an answer first.", she laughed.
"I was going to.", he raised his eyebrows like a teenager had been denied of his prize. She held him at arms length.
"in words.", she pursued her lips. He took in her features, his eyes roaming the edges of her face.
"What was that? I can't hear you.", she turned her ear to him.
"Yes.", he said with more volume, his voice sounding giddy.
"Now can I kiss you?", he asked turning her chin to meet his gaze.
"Yes.", she whispered, pulling him in.
Namora knew it had been a while. What did they have to discuss for so long? She grew anxious. Maybe all this was a ploy to get him alone, so the princess could then hurt him. She emerged out of the water.
"K'uk'ulkan -", she came upon the scene.
Both of them in a passionate embrace, so much so that he hadn't even heard her. She dipped back into the water, before they could she her. She clasped her mouth, to prevent the laugh that had rumbled in the base of her throat.
"What the fuck", she exclaimed. He was going to be incorrigible now and she owed Attuma a whale. He had won the bet. He was certain this whole ploy was just a grand scheme for a date.
