It's so ironic and tragic how Feofan had to say the final goodbye to the version of Dottore that's the image of the one he first met, the one that for some reason let him live and gave him a new opportunity in his life.

Dottore was 38 when he met Feofan, he obviously looked like Omega Build. This is how Dottore looked like when Feofan met him.

His journey with Zandik ends with the image of the Zandik with whom he started the journey together. "Omega" representing the end, the Zandik that would be the end is the one that was Feofan's new beginnings, and now it's the end of that time.

Now Feofan is 400, looking like 45, he is different from who he was at 20 when he met Zandik. Yet at the end of their journey, he is saying goodbye to almost the same image he met of Zandik as if Zandik never changed with him while him changed.

Of course, Zandik changed, but that version that did it, the original, died centuries ago.

I really like segment 45 because it directly confirms that there was a period in Zandik's life around ten years after he met Feofan where he was just a super happy extroverted guy with dad energy. And why wouldn't he be. His best friend just got a promotion, he's secured plenty of funding, all his projects are going great, he's about to create the elixir of immortality, he's torturing a puppet on the side. Things cannot get better for Mr Zandik "Il Dottore" Veksel at this moment.

dottore just rambling about his experiments to pantalone. excitement was clearly written all over his face as he spoke about his latest accomplishments with a proud grin. without warning, pantalone leaned in and pressed their lips together into a soft kiss before pulling away.

the way pantalone couldn't hold back his smile when he noticed how embarrassed dottore was. it was almost as if his mind had immediately short-circuited. what was he talking about again?

his face would be red as a tomato. he couldn't even look pantalone in the eyes, his expression was a mixture of annoyance and shyness.

"by all means, please continue."
