PlayStation putting out a legal notice saying they’re removing 500+ movies from user accounts days before announcing they’re getting rid of physical discs for games is an interesting choice

They also just announced they are shutting down the PS3 and PSP digital stores, so all your digital purchases for those platforms are now worthless and the hardware can ONLY play physical disc games from now on.

Oh, and they updated their TOS earlier this year to allow them to delete your account if it's inactive for too long, with no way to restore access to all the stuff you paid for.

They just really wanted to provide lots of examples of why this is bad for consumers even if you usually buy games digitally anyway.

i think we've done a great job expanding the view of what a child's favorite animal can be. kids these days can say they love axolotls or pangolins or coelecanths and their decision is respected. maybe their parents can even find them a stuffed animal of it if they know where to look. and i think that's beautiful
