Well, Morgan was quite unsure of one thing to do. On one hand, he was viewing a girl wrestle a bear like creature that had spawned similar to the other ones now running amok in the city. He had opted to try and help her but based on how the fight was going, it seemed she was winning. If anything, he felt maybe he should have been the one helping the bear.

“Hey, dude! Do you have a ball?” She was surprised to learn pokemon were around here, and even upset to learn she’d just missed the chance for free pokeballs. She didn’t want to miss her chance though, when she saw that Ursaring, she knew she had to act fast. It was weakening beneath her, and she just needed a ball.

“Really just dodging a person, jumping over a fluffy something, then I stumbled somehow and— yeah, that happened.”

“Oh, so it wasn’t a real fight?” She couldn’t help but feel disappointed. 

It would have made a good story. Still, a fluffy something was interesting too, just on a whole opposite side of the spectrum. “Are you talking about pokemon?” She couldn’t believe those things were real in this city.

{  Why was that girl staring at him like that? His beard, maybe? His arm? The bag? Did something fall out of it? Or is it his outfit? People stare at him for all kind of reasons. He is literally thinking about everything— except the blue bruise on his left cheek, which got the size of Morocco in the meantime. He completely forgot about his little morning-accident.

“Is something wrong, miss? Can I help you?” The irony of this.

“Nuthin’, it’s just...who decked you?”

She didn’t know if he had a personal argument with someone, or if it was an attack from one of the so-called monsters she’d been hearing about. If it was a monster, she needed to know so she could steer clear of it. No sense in looking for a reason to have to get up and fight. 

If it wasn’t a monster attack --it still might be a great story.
