So, I don’t know if anyone else has dealt with this recently, but for years I’ve had an issue that when I go back far enough in my likes I can no longer see or access them. And when I say years, I mean seven. Seven years. I’ve sent at least two messages to Support about this and every time I get the same automated message telling me someone’s working on it. Clearly no one is, and I’m sort of fed up about it. I’ve decided I’m just going to go 100% on either getting to a point where I can access these likes, or completely deleting them out. Will either of these things happen? Probably not, but I’ll keep this post updated should things actually occur.
Please find more details under the cut. I didn’t want this post to get to long and clog up anyone’s dash.

UPDATE: I received a reply this morning. I’ve cut out specific names because, although I’m a little dubious as to whether this is a real person or not, I’m not trying to dox anyone.
If anyone would like to see my reply I can definitely post it as well. It’s quite long because I sent a chronological list of all the posts I could find talking about the same issue as far back as 2014.
Also, since I think it’s worth mentioning, this reply is very similar to one I received in 2017 for the same issue.
As always, I’ll update this post if/when I get any more information! Please let me know if you’ve found a definitive solution to the problem!
UPDATE 2: So it’s been a few days (I’m really busy with a capstone project right now), but I did receive another reply a few days ago.
I wanted to make sure that I wasn’t replying for no reason, so I asked a couple of tech friends, who both believe the actual reason this issue isn’t being dealt with is because it just isn’t a priority. I also searched around to see when this issue started blowing up, and it seems to peak in 2016. I’m not 100% sure what was going on behind the scenes on Tumblr around that time, but it looks like the way likes are viewed may have been changed. Could that have caused this problem? I’m not sure. Could it have contributed to this problem? Probably. As always, I’ll update this post if/when I receive anything new! Please let me know if you’ve found a definitive solution to this problem!!
