Beatdown: Fists of Vengeance X Durarara X DC Comics PART ONE

I have decided to replay the old game Beat down: Fists of Vengeance on my PS2 and on an emulator.

I'm facing each character off of a fictional idea of a color gang. Similar to the series like Durarara, Ikebukuro West Gate Park and Tokyo Revengers.

Unlike the majority of the series, I won't use primary colors to identify the gang colors and with limited color choices and clothing options. I will use only four selected colors: Green, Purple, Black and Brown.

Black will be for biker gang or fetish wear.

Brown would be for the rival gang.

Green will be for sportswear or sports theme gang.

Purple will be for the Hawaiian themed gang.

I'm going to debate on making a fifth option depending on the

The sixth file will be of Raven being either a hero or a villain.

I have made early variations of DC heroes and villains. So far, I have made Nightwing, Red Hood, Roy Harper aka Arsenal (New 52) and The Joker.

The same goes for other Durarara characters Mikado Ryugamine and Masomi Kida so far.

I personally don't watch a lot of k-dramas. But Teach You A Lesson it's got to be the best one to start out with.

Without a doubt the story is amazing, the characters are great and enjoyable. Something you can really get into.

I would never post stuff I got from conventions. But my haul was amazing. I meant and spoke with Scott Snyder, Stephanie Phillips, Mark Bagley and Todd Nauck over the weekend at Motor City comic Con.

I got a bunch of stuff signed. Got a lot of things off my list and found more I didn't expect to get. Even handed out copies of my own published work.

I really wish they would bring more great writers and artists in the Fall or next year.

The topics are the newest incarnations of Witchblade and The Darkness.

The end of Green Arrow in DC All In Issue 31:

Sad to hear this. But Green Arrow All In is ending at issue 31. Dealing with the events of Arsenal relapsing slightly and Green Arrow vs the Crimson Archer.

The series is ending due to lack of sales which is always sad to hear from such a great series. With such great storylines they could have continued onwards.

What has Connor Hawke and Speedy (Mia Dearden) been up too? Is Oliver Queen's other son still canon? Why is Arrowette (Cissie King-Jones) is now a part of the Arrow family after all this time? Lian Harper's additional training & PTSD under Amanda Waller's thumb post Cry for Justice story arc?

So much left unexplained.

I really hope they can continue onward with some of these plots in possible spin-off series.

Amazing Spider-Man 975 & All-New Venom 10 Thoughts:

ASM 975:

With Ben Reily AKA Chasm taking over Peter's life and Norman Osborn trying to take the mantle of Spider-Man until Peter returns. The plots will surely thicken especially with Ben's damaged psyche as he tries to maintain his life as Peter. With Janine in tow following his lead only Felicia Hardy aka Black Cat & Norman Osborn knows that truth.

Meanwhile in space, Peter Parker is surviving after his fight against Hellgate and meeting up with a new alien he befriends called Xanto. Learning some dark truths about his new friend. Peter takes action and gets a new outfit a “flexisuit” which the alien inventor describes as “the husk of a Technarch, repurpose. It gives off a color scheme like from his Anti-Ock suit from the Spider-Man PS4 game. Rescuing captive aliens along with Rocket Raccoon and a symbiote pup.

ANV 10:

Mary Jane Watson finally ends things with Paul Reuban. As she struggles with her relationship with the Venom symbiote and her past with it.

Flash Thompson aka Agent Anti-Venom briefly attached with the Toxin symbiote as Sleeper took ahold of known hero sidekick Rick Jones once more as Sleeper Agent. Toxin's lengthy bond with Flash and the Anti-Venom caused him great pain and left him in a dying state. Needed someone with great despair to attach to.

Mary Jane checks in on her symbiote allies and reveals Toxin's new host body being Rick Jones, hero sidekick and former Bucky Barnes, Captain Mar-vel, A-Bomb and Sleeper Agent.

Following that, Mary Jane Watson meets with Peter Parker (Ben Reilly taking over Peter's life) needed to discuss things with him and reveals to him that she is the All-New Venom. Ben rejected Mary Jane and shut the door on her. Keeping that info on her to himself.

Afterthought:

Don't know if Janine is going out as Hallow's Eve while Ben is taking over Peter's life. Unless she teams up with the Blood Hunters once more. She only goes out as Hallow's Eve to follow Ben's lead at times. Since Ben is Janine's anchor, she is still probably wanted by the police due to the Beyond Corporation hunting them down before. She would have difficulty finding herself a job due to her criminal record. Not to mention Kaine possibly joining with the Order of the Web while Peter's away.

Knowing Rick Jones bouncing from different hero titles in the past. Won't be that surprising for him to separate from Toxin in near future. Or create a new Anti-symbiote hero like Anti-Venom, Silence or Misery. Anti-Toxin won't be that far behind.

Only time will tell for now.

All-New Venom Issue 9 Thoughts:

I'm happy to see Toxin back in action with Eugene "Flash" Thompson as its host. Seeing the mesh of the Toxin symbiote meshing with the Anti-Venom symbiote works beautifully.

Knowing that this union is temporary but it's works. But it will only be a matter of time until Toxin will find a proper host.

I know most fans like myself I'll rejoice over the fact that Mary Jane and Paul are now over. but Mary Jane's relationship is still strained. Especially when she revealed to Peter that she is the new Venom host after the beat down he took from Hellgate in the most recent issue of Amazing Spider-Man.

With the couples romantic relationship won't happen anytime soon, it will be determined how the superhero partnership will work out especially with MJ being Venom instead of Jackpot at the moment.

So apparently Marvel is launching a few of their series on the Webtoons app. Such as the most recent Zeb Wells and John Romita Jr run of Amazing Spider-Man and the recent Avengers comics.

It's a good idea for people who miss out on series events like the Dark Web to connect to new characters or play catch up with their favorite characters.

And other popular series like The Avengers, Disney fantasy comics, Star Wars, and 20 century Fox properties like Alien and Predator.

Not only Morlun and Kaine are seen in future covers of the series. Now we get to see the amazing cover art of Felicia Hardy aka Black Cat drawn by Rickie Yagawa.

I love Rickie Yagawa's artwork. I'm surprised that Marvel hasn't utilized her skills for a one-shot or a miniseries yet.

I'm happy for her and Jim Towe getting recognized by Marvel and doing amazing projects. Looking forward to reading this later this Fall.
