as for where my ladies have been, other than certain obligations I imagine that summer was very busy for them. Plenty of spooks running around, hunting teenagers at campsites.

Sorry for the quality. I took these with an iPod forever ago. Thought you rad lads would enjoy them. Taken in Sitka Alaska, where many old cemeteries like this one are only a few yards into the forest off the main roads. A lot of them belong to children, because there was an outbreak of disease (I think it was measles???) decades ago.

last night i was briefly talking about furbies and agreed that they should be interpreted as miniature, flightless griffins
‘furbies’ are opportunist desert insectivores that may also eat some plants or carrion. resembling the build of a chinchilla with soft downy feathers and an otherworldly rate of colour mutation. they live in large family burrows and are extremely socially intelligent and vocal, in captivity they will mimic human speech. because of this, their small size, and many morphs, domestic furbies are popular pets but must be kept in at least pairs

HOW THE FUCK DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THE CRAFORDSVILLE MONSTER UNTIL NOW?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crawfordsville_monster
“Yes we do,” she agreed and kept herself back. The air in the room was growing thicker and colder...and...slimier? It felt slimy to her. As if something cold and gelatinous were pressing against her from all sides...it made her skin crawl.
“Lyle,” Sonia called but in a moment as quick as a snap the tension in the room broke and everything came tumbling down. Pressure suddenly through her back against the far wall. Holding her down as it tried to throw not only her but also Lyle away from the source.

“That sounds wonderful,” Liam put on his best smile then turned to Yasir. “I hope it’s alright if I steal your sister away for the evening.” Yasir seemed like a fine fellow to Liam, one that would allow his sister to go out and enjoy herself. It was refreshing, not having to deal with an overprotective brother. Perhaps if, after all this was worked out, the three of them should go out somewhere. It would be nice to just have a conversation with two people that wasn’t about artifacts or monsters.
Writing down his phone number he handed it to Saal. “I’ll call you later alright? I just need to give my friends at the museum a call first.”
“Of course, she will be off work then” Yasir smiled in a tired way, he didn’t own Saaleha and he tried to keep separated from that state of mind. She was her own person and could make her own decisions, plus he knew she took self defense classes for years sooo, he figured she was more capable then him to protect her. And if Liam wanted mundane conversations he would love Yasir and Kamilah, both could easily talk about day to day life. Something to help get ones mind off things like monsters and artifacts…Saaleha on the other hand, not good for those kinds of conversations. Saaleha took the number, giving it a quick look at before pulling out her phone to put it in her contacts before also sending a quick text, just to make sure that he had her number as well so that he could call it, and then away went her phone. “Okay, i’ll be waiting” Saaleha smiled, not knowing how many strings one might have to pull on Liam’s side just to get this thing working.
Liam nodded to Yasir before pulling out his phone, smiling at the new test before adding Saaleha into his contacts. “Well then I look forward to our evening, it should be delightful.” With that he gave them both a polite nod and began to leave.
He would have much to get done before he could take Saal out for the evening...so many calls to make. Oh he had really dug himself in deep with that one. But it would be worth it, provided such an artifact could even be removed. All the research he would have to get done in such a short amount of time...it made his head spin just thinking about it!
Honestly...this was why he just preferred to steal stuff, it was so much easier.

The two hunters merely looked at each other and then back at Redux, not at all amused at being laughed at. But both Tally and Sonia had been around the block long enough to know that if you got offended it typically just made it easier for others to pick on you. So instead the Sonia just began to go through her bag and Tally shrugged. “Yeah you could call us ghost hunters.”
“And sun is nice and all but if you’re not a part of the company you shouldn’t be up here. The wind can be dangerous.” Sonia advised while Tally squinted at the stranger.
“Are you a part of the company?” She asked, scrutinizing Redux.
Redux watched the two as he did his best not to just cover his mouth with his hands once remembering his little mouth problem, but even then his hands were up with a few fingers over his lips. He looked even more nervous when Sonia began going through her bag, what was she doing? Was she getting something out, stop it. “Maybe…” Redux now spoke as he moved his head away, pretending to look elsewhere as he now spoke through his teeth, mouth barely open as he lightly balled up on fist and placed it over his lips. “Okay, so Im seeing a sand still here. You see it, right? So how about this…You go back inside first, and i’ll follow once there if good distance between us…You can even wait inside for me?” He had little plans of coming inside, at least not this way.
Tally and Sonia exchanged a look and then returned their gaze back to the stranger. The looks said it all, their disbelief extremely apparent. Tally was completely unsure of how to further proceed, what if they left and the stranger threw themselves over the edge?
Sonia appeared to be thinking the same thing and did not wish to have the others life on her hands. Yet it would be impossible to find an impasse as they were now.
“We need to finish up our work before we can go back inside, so I’m afraid we can’t leave yet and you’re currently where we need to be.”
