Inktober 2017, days 1 to 3

This year I’m following my own theme : “forest”, and I’m making my own prompts for everyday. I have almost all of them, but I only planned the first week so far. I want to see where it’s taking me before I decide which prompts I’m writing down for which days :) I want the illustrations to be cohesive so that I can make a zine with them at the end of the month. 

Since I usually draw a lot of characters, this inktober is a good opportunity for me to try and focus less on them and more on objects, animals and environnment. I’m also trying to develop a specific inking technique (Kuretake brush pen) as well as get better with ink washes ^^

New avatar, woo!

Little illustration based on Frannerd’s list of things to draw when you don’t know what to draw :) The first prompt is “your favorite fairy tale character, not the Disney one, the original one”, but I don’t have a favorite except for Alice in Wonderland which is already on the list x) So I illustrated what I would have liked to read as a kid :)
