I feel that if I make a mistake, everyone will see how worthless I am and take EVERYTHING away from me. As if all the good I am and have done matters not, because I made one tiny mistake, all my skills, all my growth, all my worth, everting it all just disappears because I made a mistake.

That’s utter shit ladies and gentlemen.

So here’s your pass to make mistakes and be caught, loved, and held.

Make that mistake. I got you. I still love you. You’re amazing and valuable and this does not define your worth. Nothing has disappeared because you made that mistake. You’re still a wonderful, badass human who is learning.

Normally, people tend to get frustrated, even jokingly, if they miss out on something. This comment was on a song from 1974 and it made me smile quite much. Simply appreciative. Like a dessert after dinner.

It is genuinely mind blowing to me just how many Tumblr posts have changed my life for the better and taught me to be happier. Not all of the thoughts originate on Tumblr, but the way people collect and frame them has literally changed my brain chemistry.
