You wish to a genie for a money tree and he grants your wish. The money tree gives you $1 every second.
In just 3-5 days, you can buy a house with cash. That's just a few days to buy something the average person spends decades paying for, and something many people will never be able to afford in this lifetime.
I make $40 per hour working typical full time hours as a programmer. I'm considered one of the well off ones. My salary for an entire year is still less than what your money tree gives you in a day.
Clearly, the money produced from your money tree is astronomically large.
But in order for your money tree to make you as rich as Elon Musk, it would take 30,000 years.
It's nowhere near possible for someone to earn that much money.
I don't know how to make this not sound mean but I'm not trying to be mean, so please know that going in.
Listening to a podcast about bodies and eating disorders and the body positivity movement of the last decade ish and hearing someone say (paraphrasing from memory here) "body positivity was all capitalism, there were no legislative changes, just new brands of jeans"
Legislative changes are super important but I cannot emphasize enough that jeans coming in bigger sizes and fat-friendly cuts is actually a really big deal! With meaningful impacts on people's lives (including mine)! Fat people do need clothes! And you may not realize this, but if you're over a certain size (that's not even that big a size) there's a very good chance you can go to a big box store and *not find anything that fits you*. There are towns in the US where if you're over a size 18 you need to drive an hour away or shop online to get things in your size. And they're expensive! "Just buy used" if they even have your size! Fat people want to look nice too. And we face enough judgement during job interviews (to give one example) without trying to do it in clothes that don't fit or are super uncomfortable.
Actually: If you're fat and you want to look cute/hot/masc/femme/etc I cannot recommend this website enough, you put in your measurements and it lists what brands have your size. You can filter for stuff like sensory friendly, nonbinary, masc, organic, etc. It's not AI just a database.
Phoria is a platform to help plus-size and gender-expansive people build a more sustainable and ethical wardrobe they love. Weāre a benefit
If someone beats you up for being "cishet white male" and nothing else, is this okay? Did you deserve it?

tumblr staff doesnāt want you to know this, but a great way to treat small amounts of granulation tissue to prevent it from becoming hypergranulation inside the canal of your neovagina is to make a hypersaline solution (more in tense version of regular saline) and soak a tampon in it, and then insert that tampon into your vaginal canal
now Iām sure if you are dealing with granulation tissue during early recovery from bottom surgery youāre probably thinking gosh fuck Iām a trans girl iāve never had to put a tampon in in my life how do I do thisā¦and Iād love to show you but
ITS THE POST THAT GOT ME BLURRED HIII
love how much tumblr hates women lol
anyways, if you're a trans girl and have never used a tampon before, here's some tips
- you shouldn't be able to really feel it, if you do it isn't tilted correctly or it's not far enough in. in my experience the easiest way to put in a tampon is squatting and tilting slightly forward but experiment and see what feels best for you
- it's completely normal to take a few attempts to get in correctly , that's what the string is for (easy removal)
- if you lose the string you can just Go Up There and pull it out, it's just more messy
- even though you don't bleed, do not leave it in for long. i'm serious. you can still get toxic shock syndrome, it's not pretty and you will need serious medical intervention. change tampons at least every 8 hours
- probably common sense but ill add anyways, tampons expand when absorbing fluid! do not worry if it's a little struggle to get out that's normal (but if you're having a REALLY hard time that is not, probably size down your tampon)
hope any of this helps!
From the replies:
What is granulation tissue?
[Cyprozombiegirl] Granulation tissue is a normal tissue that forms underneath where the skin will form, its bright red and shiny (and painful to the touch). Unfortunately when the injured/cut area is consistently wet often too much of this tissue forms and prevents skin from growing over it. When this happens itās called hypergranulation and needs to be chemically burned away. If youāve got some but not a lot though, not enough to technically be hypergranulation but on the way there, you can use hypersaline to treat it.
It canāt stop anything once youāve fully got hypergranulation, but if itās only granulation it seems to help a lot. I found out about this from a friend whose special interest is bottom surgery
To Make The HyperSaline Solution
[Cyprozombiegirl] mix 2 teaspoons of table salt with 1 cup of warm water (which youāve boiled for at least 20min) in a clean container until the salt dissolves. soak tampon in it. Insert tampon (this can be tricky because it will rapidly expand, so I suggest getting one for light flow).
[Dilsdoes] hi! just a note: make sure the salt youre using is non iodized! generally for saline solutions used internally like this you want to avoid iodized salt. it tends to irritate mucous membranes
Further information on Tampons can be searched online or on the Tampon box.

A diagram for how to apply a tampon in a (neo)vagina.
1. Tampon inside a tampon applicator, with tampon chord (a string used to pull the tampon out).
2. Hand with the tampon itself pointed towards the palm and body. Index finger over the Tampon applicator plunger.
3. Spreading vaginal opening with the other hand, and placing the tampon with tampon applicator towards the vaginal entrance. Legs spread apart.
4. Push tampon applicator plunger with index finger, with tampon inside, to push it further inside.
5. Take out tampon applicator. The tampon should be secured inside the vaginal canal, with tampon chord hanging outside of the vagina.
End ID.
make sure you are doing this using a tampon with a plastic applicator. This is for a number of reasons: firstly, they are easier to use than other options, but secondly and more crucially, theyre actually compatible with the whole "putting in a tampon soaked in liquid" thing. If you use an applicatorless tampon like OB, it'll just fully expand and good fucking luck getting that in. If you use a tampon with a cardboard applicator, its harder to put in and also the cardboard will just get soggy.
you want something that looks like this:
Make sure to soak the tampon while it is in the applicator. do not remove it from the plastic casing (blue in this picture) or you will be unable to put it in.
I would also highly recommend avoiding tampax pearl tampons or anything similar. This means anything that advertises itself as having a thicker string or "leak protection". Firstly, if youre not bleeding or otherwise oversaturating the tampon with liquid you wont need it (yet again a reason to soak the tampon while its in the applicator). Secondly, that thicker string can be massively uncomfortable even for people used to wearing tampons (which can also be an issue if you dont yet know how to differentiate between "is this tampon not in properly?" and "the string on this brand fucking sucks eggs".) If youve never worn one, save yourself the trouble. A thin tampon string you shouldnt be able to feel is best.
If the tampon string breaks (which, if youre worried about this, dont be. It's extremely unlikely, I've had it happen once in my many years of wearing exclusively tampons) bear down like youre taking a shit and it should start to come out on its own. This can also help if youre having trouble taking it out or are just nervous. Like mentioned above, this can be even easier if youre in something of a squatting position, such as by putting a stool under your feet.
It's worth mentioning that tampons come in different sizes. From smallest to largest they go: light/junior/slim, regular, super, super plus, and ultra. Light/junior/slim and ultra can be hard to find. Your best bet is regular. The larger a tampon, the more likely you will struggle to remove it, not because it is physically large, but because it can absorb more liquid and will thus be dryer. Just go with a smaller one and you should be fine
Here's a non-Tumblr source on hypergranulation and its treatment in neovaginas in case anyone would like that. (I wanted to find something more before reblogging medical advice.) It doesn't bring up the preventive solution OP is talking about but it does give some context for it.
Take care of yourselves, especially after surgery. I love you.
I'm gonna add my 2 cent cause even though I'm cis this has happened to me and I can imagine it's even more uncomfortable to our trans sisters: If you're having a hard time removing the tampon because there's a lot of friction or it feels like it expanded too much don't hesitate to douse your finger in a bit of lube and lube the vaginal canal. This will help get the tampon out with less discomfort!
Trans woman in need of help!!!!!
tl;dr trans woman needs help paying bills, money for meds, and money for food!
Hi! I'm Mordred! I'm a trans woman that loves photography, writing trans smut, and streaming video games for folks to watch. I'm disabled, unemployed, I've tried for many months to get a job, but no where has given me a call back. I'm really desperate to keep a roof over my head, food in my fridge, and the electricity and Internet kept on since my husband (only source of income) works from home.
This is Dove.
I also need money for his food and litter.
I'm genuinely very desperate. And could use any help possible. I have been banned from PayPal and Venmo after a terf harassment campaign got me removed from both and ruined a lot of my life (keeping me from making money).
My only ways to receive money are with cashapp and zelle. Cashapp info below, DM me for zelle. If you need PayPal or Venmo, I could share my husband's in dms.
Cashapp: $thecatgirlprincess
My fridge is practically empty. Please help me get groceries.
So here's the deal...
I'm Sparrow, I'm a trans woman in desperate need of financial help.
I was diagnosed with Burkitt's Lymphoma early last year, and while I seem to be cancer free now, it has left me poor, deeply in debt, and with chronic pain that hinders my ability to work long stretches. My job pays ass, and gives me as few hours as it can each week, and I'm living paycheck to paycheck just trying to survive.
I've been off my hormones since I was diagnosed and can't even afford to go to the doctor for a checkup let alone get back on the hormones that I so desperately want, and I'd desperately like to be able to see a doctor and make sure the cancer isn't back on top of just being able to get to work every day.
If you can help in any way, please do, I'm so desperate for some kind of relief...
Go to paypal.me/MelanieFrayMiles and type in the amount. Since itās PayPal, it's easy and secure. Donāt have a PayPal account? No worries.
I have a doctors appointment coming up to see what's up with some abdominal pain and I'm probably not gonna be able to afford it, if anyone can help please do, I'm so fucking scared.
Had to miss a day of pay because I got sick, any help would be really appreciated.
continuously wild to me that āyou will be better at a game if you know the rulesā and āif you hate the rules of a game, you might better enjoy playing a different gameā always seem to make people so mad.
It's a bit weird yeah.
One of the many reasons for this, I think, is that modern D&D (and its competitor games, Pathfinder for example) has a play culture that assumes a group has a Main Game or even an Only Game they play. That's for a lot of reasons (the perception that all games are hard to learn, the passive belief that the ideal/only acceptable mode of play is the years-long campaign, etc.), but it ends up creating a ton of resistance to other systems.
If your group is A Pathfinder Group, and someone brings another system they want to try--if your perspective is that RPG groups have A Main Game they play, that's going to come across as that person trying to change the group's whole thing. If someone else suggests another game to you, they're suggesting you change up your group's whole hobby for that game. If the game has an obvious included setting that you can't convert your current campaign to, or a clear included setting at all, how could that be your Main Game if you're not all building your own world to live in for years and years? If you do try it for a session or two and it doesn't really click (for whatever reason, maybe you genuinely don't like it, or maybe you tried to play it like Main Game and it didn't work), well, that's proof that you should just stick to what you already like.
Modern D&D is certainly the center of this, but its direct competitors have a similar culture, too.
And that's just how some people--a lot of people--like their hobby. The idea of RPG omnivores doesn't really occur to them because it's just not the same hobby in the first place.
IMO this is also a consequence of how D&D has put all its effort into becoming not just The Roleplaying Game and Every Roleplaying Game. But also it's effort to become the Marvel of roleplaying games.
These three intentionally creates a player who is both loyal to the brand and avoidant of everything else. Because the game has isolated them very strongly.
So you encounter RPG players who are better identified as "D&D players". The same way someone might call themselves a comic book reader but are better identified as "Marvel readers".
Follow that: If a Marvel reader states they dislike how comics are written, they aren't expecting suggestions to other comics. They want Marvel comics to become better. Similar to how some D&D players only look for solutions inside other D&D products.
This makes me think of something that I think cavegirl posted on bluesky a while back, but that I'd been thinking about too: "D&D" and "TTRPGs" are kinda separate hobbies and they don't overlap as much as one would expect.
Something like this (not to scale)
It's intentional that, proportionally, more of the "general TTRPGs" circle overlaps into the D&D circle than vice-versa. There are, I'd wager, quite a few more people into TTRPGs as a whole who also like D&D than primarily-D&D fans who also like TTRPGs as a general medium.
(Please imagine that Pathfinder is just kinda bouncing around inside the D&D circle somewhere.)
When people argue that food from Chinese and Mexican restaurants in the US are not 'real' representations of that culture's cuisine ignore the historical reality that these dishes were developed by diasporic communities striving to recreate the flavors of home with available resources. Such criticism frames adaptation as a loss of authenticity, rather than recognizing it as a sincere and evolving expression of culture by people separated from their homeland.
