So….I know everyone is VERY MUCH against the idea of them trying to give Killian an knew love interest, but because I love angst, I kind of want a little bit of that. 

Like in the he keeps trying to move on, but he can’t because he keeps having flashbacks of a woman who he either thinks is dead or thinks doesn’t exist. That would be one way to keep CS in the story w/o Jen, to have him keep flashing back to moments that have already happened…

You know what? I’m gonna be different and say yes. 

No, i’m not talking about Killian with another woman. 

But a sort of similar situation to Emma in NYCS only not? Like, his friend pushes him to go on a date and we see a freaked out Killian sitting across from some random woman in a restaurant, awkwardly making an excuse to leave and vowing never again.

And his friend/friends don’t understand what’s up with him, and he’s like “I don’t want to date. I feel like a part of me is missing but it’s not going to be filled by some woman” because of course, the piece of him missing is not any woman, it’s the woman, his wife… only he’s not aware of it, but he feels it.

I think i’d for sure be down for a cursed killian, trying to find his purpose in life, unaware of who he is and what’s missing. 

Of course no one wants him with some random chick and I heavily doubt they’d insult us in such a way… but he’s also not just ‘the love interest’. It’d be interesting to see cursed Killian as an individual. So i’m open to all ideas tbh.

ALL. OF. THIS. He’s too pretty to not at least have people after him, and while Emma is clearly a massive part of Killian’s life, there is a Killian Jones outside of Emma Swan.

my current angsty headcanon (that I may or may not be writing into a spec fic) is that he’s a widower and never takes off his ring. He’s tried but he can’t.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they went down a similar root as SHIELD did this season where, over the time-jump, some villain became obsessed with Killian and wanted to destroy his and Emma’s happiness by separating him from Emma and cursing him into being with them instead and not remembering Emma.

Okay, I was rewatching the season finale and, after seeing all the GIFs of Killian saying “happy honeymoon” in this same scene, I said I’d investigate it again and I swear to you (maybe just because I want this to be a thing) Emma says “Jones” into the walkie, followed by “reporting for duty” or something. It’s hard to make it out, and I don’t think that this GIF does it justice. I’d recommend you go back and watch the scene yourself to make sure.
