He explained that, they had hired on an intern who often wrote fanfiction in their spare time, and they had mixed up the notes on one of their fics with a mini-series they’d been working on.
According to this writer, it was a pairing between the characters of Kit and Ray, and the other writers liked the concept so much that they started writing that mini-series based on that intern’s notes.
this was put to a stop when the intern explained the situation and the mini-series was scrapped.
the writer interviewed also stated that the intern got into a car accident 2 weeks later. “Twas the A03 curse” he commented.
