Signal in the Pines
— Currently just a story, but who knows, if I stick with it, I might look into publishing it. It’s far too early to tell.
— First person, wrote as an online journal written by Evie Walker.
— The main characters are Everly “Evie” Walker and Kit Wilson, aside from two animals, they’re really the only characters mentioned in this story. The animal characters are Dakota “Kota” the Belgian Malinois, the second doesn’t get introduced until later in the story.
— Evie is a radio host/producer & DJ, the station name you ask? 102.7 The Howler. Kit is a private forest ranger. They work together to protect the town of Brimfield from the dark entities that reside in the woods.
— Brimfield is a small town tucked into the backwoods of Montana. Harsh winters, sweltering summers. The residents are odd, but no, they are not paranormal.

i recently just got done reading Bloom by Delilah S. Dawson (an absolutely amazing book might i add) and i am wanting to look for books similar honestly… i’m really just looking for sapphic horror, if i’m completely honest with you but i’m also just open to any book recommendations preferably in the horror, sci-fi, or thriller genre— romance is an added bonus but it needs to fit in with the other genres and i’d prefer if it’s not a story solely about the romance, if that makes sense…
