Honestly, the only reason Tony Stark died in Endgame is because he didn't have JARVIS. Don't get me wrong, I love my girl FRIDAY, but JARVIS? you know that mf has 721 protocols lined up for every threatening scenario Tony might encounter, physically, mentally or emotionally. JARVIS just has a foolproof plan on how to kill every avenger without even Tony knowing. He has names and money for mercenaries that he keeps a list of, for any hypothetical need of getting rid of some threat. You KNOW he'd call Deadpool as soon as that space donut showed up. You KNOW he's deploying a whole army of spare iron man bots to self destruct in Thanos' ship as soon as he time travels. You know he's gonna stop the suit dead in it and eject the infinity stones in different directions as soon as they make contact with the armour

Steve: You're ready?
Tony: Not at all. But that's never stopped us before.

forced immortality is a fun trope. unappreciated. someone/something wants you to remain so it makes you. it will not let you die

what ao3 would look like with ads. no, you do not want this. support ao3 because it’s one of the last few places on the internet that is not tainted by capitalism bullshit. support ao3 because it’s one of the last few places on the internet that is genuinely about the connection between audiences, artists, their works and the love/passion artists have for what they do
