WHUMPTOBER is a month-long, prompt-based creation CHALLENGE (think: Inktober, but whumpier). There are four prompts for each day of the month, giving 124 for you to play with! There is also a list of 18 alternative prompts that can be subbed in for any day to give participants as much creative freedom as possible.
All prompts are meant to serve as inspiration without being taken literally (e.g. you don’t have to include the exact wording of prompts into your work). Feel free to run rampant on interpretation. For example, if the prompt is “flame", you could create something with reference to a candle/campfire, your character could have suffered a burn, or the flame could be a reference to an ‘old flame’ - an old relationship. It’s truly down to you!
You can produce work in any media you choose, including but not limited to: writing, visual artwork, photo/video/audio edits, paper crafts and elaborate recommendation lists (not just a list of links). You can participate as much or as little as you want (i.e. you don’t have to do ALL the prompts if you don’t want to) and prompts can be used in any order. They are also free to use even after the event ends.
Please make sure to read the Event Info and FAQ carefully, as most of your questions will be answered there already. For everything else, you are welcome to come to our ask box or ask questions in our Discord server here.

I really enjoyed drawing Hobart! He is such a cool character! For the whump, I went with him being kidnapped and tortured by Satan 😈 I hope you like it ~
I have a mental illness called drawing my OC a lot lol
Whiffle thinks its best to get along with everyone in the circus but some of them have antics that grate on her nerves despite this. Whiffle is usually quiet in a group setting but one on one, she can be quite chatty.
She has a bit of temper problem and copes with it by not saying anything at all. She's always ready to square up with someone being an asshole though. Her and Jax butt heads a lot and she happily uses her height advantage when this happens.
For the most part though, she is kind to the other circus members. She's a good listener but also tries to distract them from darker thoughts with witty banter. It takes a lot for someone to get on her bad side permenantly.
Zooble: Likes them for the most part but wishes they wouldn't argue with Caine so much. Everytime Zooble talks to Caine, she braces in case this is the time Caine goes off the deep end.
Gangle: She loves being able to draw and craft with someone else. Whiffle will end up dragging Gangle around with her on adventures. When they're together, Whiffle won't stand for Jax's antics towards Gangle.
Jax: Fairly obvious. She doesn't like his attitude but can appreciate when he does something funny or offers push back to stupid parts of adventures. She also knows better than to give Jax a reaction for the distasteful things he says. He finds her boring and lame because of this.
Ragatha: She can't trust how friendly Ragatha is since she never seems to show any negative emotion. She tries to encourage Ragatha to say what's really on her mind.
Kinger: Finds his antics funny. He makes her a little sad though when she thinks about how long he's been here and how he copes with that. She likes hearing his insight even when its gibberish.
Bubble: Finds him amusing, especially when he weirds Caine out.
Caine: Despite his many failings in giving them all what they want, she recognizes he's trying and assumes there's some kind of disconnect between their feedback and what he hears. She has no idea how to give feedback to help him though so usually stays quiet. She sees his small kindnesses though and judges him based off that.
Pomni: Like Zooble, she likes Pomni for the most part but doesn't like how much she complains. She wishes she was a little more go with the flow and thinks Pomni is a little uptight or too literal. She also doesn't think befriending Jax is a good idea but to each their own.

She's terrible at giving advice despite the motherly/comforting aura she gives off. To make up for it though, she's very hard to fluster or upset and she's easy to talk at. She'll let you vent all you want to her.
And yes, her and her bigger body do argue sometimes which can be very silly to see.
Between you and me, I'm not completely sold on the goose body head. I love it, but thats a lot of small detail. Idk she's so cute either way :D
This is an OC whump art exchange where artists can sign up via Google form found here, and will be assigned a partner at random to draw art for, similar to a Secret Santa. At the end of the event, participants post the art on their blogs with the required tags and it will be reblogged to the main event blog.
The form closes on May 1st 2026. You will receive your partner’s information on May 8th or 9th, either in your tumblr ask box, or dms. You’ll have roughly two weeks to complete the art, and you will post the art on May 22nd 2026 with all of the required tags included.
When you post your piece tag it #whump_art_exchange_2026, and tag @whump-art-exchange, as well as tagging the person you made the art for. I will reblog all of the finished pieces so that people can see everyone's creations.
This is a minor friendly exchange, do not submit sexual content for this event, even if you are an 18+ blog. If your blog is 18+ check that off in the form and I will assign you appropriately.
Sign ups are open to all skill levels, and partners are assigned at random with the exception of triggers, 18+ blogs, ect. All works must be a fully completed art piece with a clear image, and effort must be put into it. Do not submit AI art.
If you are unable to complete your gift, or need to drop out of the event let me know as soon as possible so that I can assign a new artist for your partner. If you need a time extension let me know so that I know you are still participating!
Harassment, or hostility of any kind will not be tolerated and anyone doing so may be blocked or asked to leave the event.

this year's prompts were sourced through an open suggestion form, where over 6,000 prompts were submitted. after, the best 100 prompts were voted on in a poll which received 6,265 votes. the top 28 were rearranged into the 28 prompts of febuwhump - with the most voted prompt in the number 1 position ("I like you better broken", 1,959 votes) - while the alternate prompts were selected from the mod's personal favourites of the remaining options.
this is such a great list of prompts, and i'm so excited to see what creativity they spark with you!

pspspspsps you know that ask bloggle you have for the fabulous dore?
I noticed you're using whole Dorian sprites. if you want to save space, you could cut it off at the waist, since most of the interesting position/facial changes happen above that. You can still see the emotion without a hugely long post due to many very tall doors.
You could also stack them side to side maybe if you wanted to save even more space. That way ppl can still see them without having to scroll past a buncha dorians to see the next text bit :3
