In case you forgot that liking Disney is one of my only personality traits

(ive kinda been posting only community/glow) for a long while now so hahah surprise this used to be a disney blog)

But yeah uhm am i the only one that literally isn’t excited at ALL for ANY of the shows/movies disney just announced??? literally none of them. Here’s why.

All of them are sequels/spinoffs/remakes/parts of existing franchises.

all of them.

why do we need 10 new star wars series????? why??? i want something new. disney has always been ahead because of their originality and it just feels like its.....dying. im ecstatic for Soul, and Raya and the Last Dragon (if it happens... i have my doubts) but all of these remakes are so unnecessary and uninteresting. Not to mention that all this creative energy could be funneled into creating new stories to represent more diverse experiences. But instead, they’re choosing to spin off and remake the same, not diverse stories they ALREADY had.

This is why I always say im more a fan of the parks and less a fan of the studios themselves. they really need to do better.
