I've only not-had trapper mcintyre for half an episode (04.01) and I'm so sad about him. I miss him. and I'm gutted that he never got a goodbye.

Oh, I know— I skipped over Welcome to Korea on my second watch for that exact reason, despite it being an okay episode lol

If it makes you feel better, I like to think that the goodbye that they had earlier in Check Up just about said everything that they needed to say, and I can’t imagine the Welcome to Korea one being too different. Both Hawkeye and Trapper knew their feelings, and while an actual goodbye would have been ideal, I don’t think anything was left unsaid. I’m not sure if anything more Trapper could say would change anything, and I think the kiss summed it up pretty well lol

I also miss him really bad. I like BJ and all, but Im on season 10 of my second full series rewatch, and I keep on going back to early seasons episodes because I miss Trapper. But BJ is great most of the time and I think you’ll really like his character, especially as he develops.

I’m actually devastated by this news. I only got into mash last year and I loved her and her character so much. She was such an inspiration and an amazing actress and person. She will surely be missed
