fics that are like 500 to 1200 words or so often have a particular kind of energy to me - like the author sat bolt upright in bed, struck by the most brilliant inspiration of their entire lives, and then typed as fast as their fingers would allow them to in order to capture it all before it left.

oneshots that are just a straight, clear shot from the brain to the page with no real filter in between? that's good stuff right there.

I have whole heartedly given up on my grammar mistakes and decided to embrace the dyslexia, yes sometimes a mixed up word or two can change the whole meaning of a sentence, but that’s just the chaos I have decided to unleash, I will also hence forth stop apologising for sentences that are whole paragraphs long, it is not on me to tell you when to breathe I revoke the painful laws of writing in English.

hi, to the solid 8 people who actually look at this blog, i'm back and back to writing fics, however, im completely stuck for prompts.

if anyone has any ideas for good whump prompts as specific or non-specific as you like I just need more prompts.

I also aim to write at least a short for every prompt I get as I do not have anything better to do atm :)

I've been rolling this around in my head wanting to do one of these forever so here goes:

People who haven't seen any or all of the shows,

which of these things did *not* happen (stargate edition)

the only thing that saves Atlantis from a drugging creep is one man with a cold

two characters swap bodies while one is in the middle of sex with his wife

the hot new drug in the galaxy is literally just corn

another planets locals give us chocolate that ends up causing hallucinations

character gets bit by alien insect, slowly becomes a cocoon for hundreds of them

a horde of whales around atlantis cause severe migraines (to start) for everyone

character comes back from the dead naked.... twice!

character sees flashes of the life of a random barber for years, says nothing

another galaxy's equivalent to chicken pox causes everyone total amnesia

obligatory "I know the answer" option
