🩸🦋Welcome to Whumperflies!🦋🩸

Hi everybody! ✨ My name’s Emi (she/her) and I’m a 23 year old student from the US with a love for all things whump! I have been the name behind this blog since its creation in 2018 after I had spent months lurking in the background admiring this community, and it’s about time I reintroduce myself ;)

Some fun facts about me!

I’m a queer woman (bisexual? asexual? ahh labels!), an avid film-lover, obsessed with video games + music, ADHD-haver, and a hopeful traveler! I took a gap year before college and have been to 11 countries thus far, with a dream to visit a hundred more someday. I adore otters, painting, and badly made whump memes :)

Now! Onto the whump!

I am a source for all sorts of reblogged content! Unfortunately I haven’t contributed many original creations to this community - instead, I collect all sorts of gifs, videos, and prompts that give me whumperflies. Someday I might branch out and start writing, but for now I’ll stay as your friendly neighborhood one-stop whump shop! Tropes I enjoy include:

have you watched 12 monkeys? for a sec I thought that nikita set was from that and was more excited than I'm willing to admit

YES!! I love 12 Monkeys, it’s genuinely one of my most favorite shows (if not THE favorite!). I first gave it a shot because of the just copious amounts of whump in the first season and ended up falling absolutely in love with the characters and story <3 and I’ve seen Nikita up to ep 2x09 (another whumpy one for the actor hehe) but never got around to finishing it!
