Hey!As part of the LGBTQ+ community, it is something important to me to share to others that you’re never alone, there’s always someone who will share some kind of understanding. Even if I were not part of the community, I would still support others, again for similar reasons, because even though I wouldn’t understand, it doesn’t mean that I should push away people. But yes, hell yeah, lets be friends. I cannot stress enough, even if you are not transgender, even if you are cis-gender, every human has rights to have their own freedom, to have their own chance at happiness. Whilst we cannot help what we are born as, where we are born, we can make a change about how we present ourselves, how we act or dress or talk. Imagine being restricted over trying to be yourself, and make yourself as comfortable as you can in your own skin. This, this petition, it doesn’t need 10 minutes if you do not want, it may only take 1 minute. What matters is that you’ve taken part, and even if this does not effect you personally, it may affect a friend, a colleague, or maybe your future children. There is so much wrong in our world, at least try and make one thing right, at least make one personal world right for someone. Please share this message, even if it is out of the ordinary for you.

Okay, so I don’t know a whole lot about net neutrality but from what I’ve seen all around Tumblr I can make note about what’s going on.

Tell more people so they could be aware about this, because it’s dumb. Stupid. Taking away our rights within the internet? Giving those large companies even more power to take control of what we have? Letting them stack left and right to filter what we want to know and what they will let us know?

They could post about your own private information. Your history.

They could and will bring down those websites that are funded through society. AO3, AFF, those websites you use often can be taken down.

Youtube, google, those things you use almost everyday in or out of school/work, will require extra payment from you, the audience. Depending on your interest, this could mean them taking down 80% of your daily life.

Will you let this happen?

Let people control you more than how they’re already controlling you now?

Cause I won’t.

The woman in the bathroom is trans and is scared that if she comes out of the stall the women that walked in will insult or harass her. but when she comes out they compliment her on her dress instead. The add ends with saying “stress tested for women.” It means Secret is including trans women in their definition of women.

I have reblogged this three times now, each one mentioning the fact that Secret not only included a trans woman, but that they /had the other women compliment her dress and treat her with respect/. I will reblog this every time I see it because it’s so important. More companies should involve trans people in their marketing - we do exist. Props to Secret for getting in on this movement. It makes me really happy to see more of the trans community represented in daily television.

Hey so fun fact, my dad is good friends the woman who currently has this job and she told him that Trump’s admin is trying to force her out. They started advertising the job before they actually told her they were transferring her so she’d have to reapply.

Her name is Catherine (Cassie) Conley, and she’s a badass MIT grad that works as NASA’s planetary protection officer, which sounds super cool (though she says not as cool as the galactic administrator). The job is basically the only one in xenobiology (space life) and it’s her life’s work. She’s been doing this job for over 10 years and now Trump wants her out.

I’m beyond pissed that this keeps going around. I know it sounds like a joke job, but it’s a legitimate career that’s being taken away from literally one of the most intelligent women in the country by this asscactus of a presidency.

If ya’ll could signal boost this that’d be much appreciated. They need to know that this kind of bullshit isn’t acceptable

I was actually reading about this job in an NPR article and it sounds REALLY important. the job basically means you make sure we don’t contaminate any planets and anything we bring back like rocks or soil, etc doesn’t do the same here.
