Just Trelawny Things
Sometimes I imagine professor Trelawny sneaking through the halls spying on her future students to make approximately fitting predictions about them.

Happy Presidents’ Day

Wow. It’s now making international headlines that German cinemas boycott Age of Ultron. O__o
Usually hardly anyone takes notice if that happens.
And it’s a good thing too, so people will know what kind shit Disney is pulling with the small cinema owners and why ticket prices keep going up. enchantedbyhiddles
Yeah, I remember watching movies in one of those small cinemas in a rural area. A showing was packed, when they sold 20% of the tickets in their biggest hall. Which was like 50 people. There’s no way those kind of cinemas can pay the higher fee. They are the only source of entertainment in those areas. So it is a really shitty capitalistic move that won’t get them more money. It will only mean that those cinemas have to close down. Then they don’t make any money at all.
The prizes are as high as they can get anyway. I remember that I used to pay 3,5€, when I was in school ten years ago. Those were prizes that you could manage with your pocket money and I was going to the cinema at least once a week. Now the cheapest tickets are 8€ (2D on their special day as a student). People there can’t pay 15€ or something like that for a cinema ticket. They will just stop going at all.
