I know I know to some of you it's obvious but while I'm processing the latest chapter, I want to talk about previous iconic (also one of the hurtful ones) panels.
So well, remember the reaction of Fronterans around when they heard that?
So let's go to the first time we see this scene enacted. At first, I thought their reactions are because the words are inherently, harsh and hurtful, and maybe, even the demon race have already seen how close these two are to not expect that kind of sentence coming out between best friends y'know?
This is the first time the panel is shown. Basically a 3rd perspective for us, the readers. Then...
The very next chapter, we get from Lloyd's POV! Now we know how Javier reacted to that, even retreating to formality.
But now I reread the latest chapters, I noticed. So, what if the frowning, angry face is what Lloyd (Suho) thought he had made in front of Javier before going away and.. well.. allow this face to emerge while looking down, hiding:
Was actually already a fail?
Because in the latest chapters where we get Javier's memory, we get his pov which is. WHICH IS NAKSKDLDJDK IM CRASHING OUT
LLOYD ACTUALLY FAIL TO COVER UP HIS EXPRESSSION. And that's why the people around actually shocked. Let's be real, Fronterans hear him being brash before, but NEVER being fragile. And Javier's face isn't mere being hurtful by the words. It's from seeing that EXPRESSION.
And that's why he's so careful when phrasing for answer in the next chapter. "After the war..." He says.
Anyway, you're due for an explanation, Kim Suho. Hope you don't forget that promise even if it's already 5 years ago (wtf is that time gap)
