some of the most common terminology used for associations/traits include but are not limited to: attraction, banishing, binding, cursing, divination, dreamwork, fertility, fidelity, love, lust, manifestation, protection, psychic abilities, power, warding

keywords for items include associations that would be considered benefic to the caster, and if an item also has a baneful association, it will be listed as such underneath its keywords - the same applies for items that may be toxic

If you notice there's less lightning bugs around then there was when you were young, you aren't going crazy. Lightning bugs/fireflies are becoming endangered!

Above is a video from one of my favorite youtubers, Ze Frank, that goes into more detail.

Lightning bug conservation is not being funded, so the Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation requires donations to further their research. The aim is to establish lighting bug sanctuaries and begin habitat restoration efforts.

Studying these little guys has done so much for us in many different fields including medicine! It's important that lightning bugs are protected so future generations can experience that magical feeling of sitting in a field surrounded by little lights.

Guys… please stop replying with “please don’t bury it it’s bad for the environment” etc etc. NO. Don’t assume. Don’t assume that burying automatically means straight in the earth, or not on one’s property. It could mean buried in a flower pot, in a box in a garden bed, wrapped in protective material and buried under a rose bush etc.

Common sense goes a long way in witchcraft.
