Thinking about starting an official fable rp like with an actual main and bios and a plot. Probably set during the revolution because who doesnt love a good revolution. Anyone interested?

“Captain it’s not-” Maria began, only to just as quickly be cut off. “Steve.” He interrupts. “We’ve been through enough together that you can call me by my name. It’s Steve.”

Maria only pauses slightly, imagines how the name would feel against her lips. The moment is over as soon as it comes and just as quickly she’s back to being Agent Maria Hill. “Captain,” She resumes her speech throwing him a pointed glare as she speaks. “It’s not professional.” 

She knows the laugh is coming before she hears it, heart hammering at how bitter it sounds. “You’ve got me in cuffs and you’re worried about not looking professional? This is just - this is wrong and you know it.” 

She knows it she knows it she knows it and yet - 

“Order are orders.” She congratulates herself on how even she keeps her voice. How flat. 

“That’s crap-” She imagines he’s gearing up for some spiel about right and wrong and fighting the good fight for justice, but she takes a sharp right - definitively not in the direction of the detention center and she knows he notices. “Where are we going?”

She whips out her gun and sees him flinch - does he really think so lowly of her? “Like I said Captain, orders are orders.” Sparks fly as her gun goes off and hits it’s mark; the camera in the corner of the room falls to the floor in pieces. If Steve was unsure what was going on before, he’s downright confused now. 

Maria continues walking, clearly expecting him to follow. He does, of course and when he falls into step with her she tosses him a key which he swiftly catches. “Why?” He questions, catching her off guard because didn’t he know? Didn’t everyone know by then?  She refuses to to look at him and musters up the best answer Agent Maria Hill can provide without compromising her feelings. “I told you, orders are orders. I just didn’t tell you whose orders.”
