I’m pretty sure I’ve shared this before, but I have to share it again because I JUST NOTICED THEIR SOCKS. HE’S WEARING (inverted) LADYBUG SOCKS. SHE’S GOT BLACK SOCKS WITH LITTLE GREEN TOE-BEANS!
I love the idea of Jiang Cheng claiming Lan Sizhui as his nephew without, like, actually telling anyone. The juniors go out on a night hunt and when they stop at Lotus Pier Sizhui now has his own room, beside Jin Ling's. At Lunar New Year Jiang Cheng makes Wei Wuxian (and regrettably Lan Wangji) come to Yunmeng for the occasion, and he hands Wei Wuxian an overstuffed red envelope to give to Sizhui later with zero explanation. If Sizhui is eating with any of the Jiangs there's Gusu dishes on the table, just in case he can't handle Yunmeng spice, without him needing to ask for it.
And when Wei Wuxian finally asks him what's going on Jiang Cheng just replies 'He's your son, isn't he?' like it's completely obvious that by extension Sizhui would be a part of his family too. Except he didn't inform anyone that this was happening, so some things need to be explained to a very bewildered Sizhui, who has been confused by Jiang Wanyin's uncharacteristic kindness for months now.
The next time Sizhui sees Jiang Cheng, he calls him Shushu for the first time. Jiang Cheng cries.
