Phoibe lives AU where she lives on the Adrestia and Kassandra’s crew of buff lesbians are her moms.
They collectively teach her all their different specialized skills even though she’s never actually done the thing, like identifying the weaves of different fabrics or being able to make obscure herbal remedies
She gets good at shooting sharks underneath them. REALLY GOOD. Then Kassandra makes her go get the arrows back.
At some point, she meets Xenia and IDOLIZES her (Xenia lets her keep one item from her treasury after Phoibe is bold enough to try to steal it)
She learns ALL the sea shanties and belts them out at all hours of the day.
Kassandra will lay out with her at night and show her all the constellations and tell the stories behind them.
Barnabas turns into her weird uncle and she starts playing pranks on him (which only intensifies after he starts returning them. Kassandra finally puts an end to it when she puts her helmet on and there’s a raw egg inside)
She ends up with all this obscure knowledge in history from listening to Herodotus, then she starts dropping all these comments on everyone while they’re looking at her like ‘wtf’ (Herodotus is SO PROUD)
Phoibe looking for salvage with Barnabas and convincing each other there are sea monsters int he water
She starts getting crushes on the women to the point that there are hushed bets around who she’s going to go all moon eyed over next.
Phoibe being The Most Prepared when her period comes because all her moms are always looking out for her. Then they throw her a ‘you’re a woman now’ party which Barnabas and Herodotus are not invited to.
Myrrine meeting Phoibe and taking her under her wing. bRUSHING HER HAIR. Phoibe sitting on her lap while Myrrine talks about battle strategy.
Phoibe meets Alexios and immediately wants to arm wrestle him. Then she meets Stentor and is hugely unimpressed
