Quick explanation: this is the first half of a short comic set in the Vampire: The Masquerade universe that shows the circumstances of my OC Pepper's embrace, and also serves as an introduction to her and Vincent. It functions like a prelude to (her version of) VTMB, but no prior knowledge of the setting is needed to understand the story. Pepper doesn't know anything about VTM either at this point and has no idea vampires are real, so if you're going in blind, you and her are on the same boat. If you have played VTMB, though, you might recognize some of the locations & a few things referenced in there. :]
