Queer unity has been trying as hard as possible to downplay any possible transfem issue. Pay gap adding up to thousands a year? Not a big deal. V coding? Never mention it. "transvestigation" is a conspiracy theory wherein you take a celebrity or other public figure and claim they have already transition. tom cruise is a common one. to transvesitgators, tom cruise is secretly a "biological woman" who is hiding that fact. they will "analyze" his height or gait or the size of his hips or any other physical feature to "prove" he is actually female. as for why cruise or any other celebrity would do this, according to transvestigators, its either to destroy the meaning of male and female or its linked directly to antisemitic blood libel shit where they are hiding the fact that they are immortal from harvesting adrenochrome from children by changing their gender to pretend to be a different person.

egg jokes are based on the idea that someone might be happier if they transition based on their behaviors being similar to out trans people from before they transitioned. if you compare this to transvestigation, you either do not know what transvestigation is or you actively do not want people to transition.

Something I feel is also worth pointing out is that transfems make things for themselves because no one wants to make things for transfems. When they rarely do, it's often loaded with unexamined transmisoginistic bias.

My roommate is transmasc. We were just talking about their reluctance to use the men's bathroom even as they "pass" more and more as a man, which is starting to cause people to give them concerning looks when they use the women's. They said they still use the women's because they feel more comfortable there. Which is fine, we shouldn't have gendered bathrooms anyway. But I told them "you might not feel as safe when you eventually get 'accused' of being a trans woman in the women's bathroom." To which they replied "oh, I'll lust lift my shirt and show them my mastectomy scars. That'll prove I belong in there."
