Thank you to all the new 친구s I made! All of you made my trip that much better! My UofA friends, YISS friends, Yonsei POWERS friends, and League friends… 고맙습니다! !  Thank you for going to 노래방, PC방, YONGSAN stadium, 빙수, 쇼핑,  부산,  badminton, and 찜질방 with me. ☺ All those late nights… ☺

Day 51

Oh, the sadness! I actually feel a mix of emotions of being happy that I will be home soon and being sad that I’m leaving Korea. It’s just so bittersweet.

Day 47

Did my criminology presentation on Public Order Crime and even though I messed up a bit I got 95%! Woot! That was the highest mark in the class of 34 students, which I am quite proud of! Hehe ☺ I enjoyed working with all my group mates too! They were all really nice and surprisingly all really good at presenting as well! Apart from one other guy… but I’m still surprised I got the highest mark in the class. Brought Jo to the Yonsei Severance Hospital. We spent like 2 hours there, but at least I studied and ate porridge. The hospital is actually so nice; it’s like an art gallery. I also had my first GS25 rice triangle cake with tuna! It was so good… I’ve been missing out this whole trip. BUT I AM NO LONGER. Hehe. Later we had mango and cheese bingsu at sulbing, which was delicious as always! ☺ hehe. That mango icecream. Omfg. I can’t even… Then we ate kbbq buffet for only 10,900! SO CHEAP and SO GOOD. Ahh. I just couldn’t stop eating. Omg. ☺ SO DELCIOUS. BEST MEALS OF LIFE. OMG. NOW…I am just studying…ish. I GOT A LEGENDARY IN HEARTHSTONE MAUAHHAH. SHAMAN’S legendary! :D

Day 46

Ate lunch with baddy boy and guitar boy at the western cafeteria! ☺ So I had bacon pasta, but there was not much bacon. I think I’ll stick to my marae cream… it’s cheaper too! Guitar boy is sooo cooool, he got me into that song twilight too. Ahh, it’s sooo goooood. Studied…. Went to eat dinner at the cafeteria, then went to crazy brown to study! The peach black tea was only 2000 won. But you could totally tell it was only 2000 won. Still not bad though!

Day 45

My feet were burning today from yesterday. It literally felt like it was on fire!! Thus, I walked to class super slow today. It felt okay after my first class though… which is good. Oh, and our crim prof let us out 20 minutes early!! Woot! ☺ I can’t believe we pretty much finished our snack that we bought yesterday. Eat so much!! Lunch was quite delicious and cheap!! Only 2500 WON whichi s like $2.50 CAD. Cheap cheap. Plus, I ate with good company. ☺

Day 44

Shopping at Time Square and Shinsege! ☺ That mall is super nice… and there were lots of things on sale! Especially in those box thingys. I only bought food and a Hulk t-shirt for nick though. It was a super cute shirt actually. ☺ After that we went to badminton and it was not bad, but I was too tired and my socks and shoes were wet… so it was the hard life. It was raining all day today too! We then ate 죽 congee and it was super delicious. 9.5/10 on my congee scale… I shall ALWAYS put kimchi in my congee now. Hehe. Later that night, I finally did my econ homework and I did my part of the criminology project.

Day 43

Checked out Kpop Star Road. So I navigated around Apujeong and we went to SM, JYP & CUBE. As well as, a ton of other small cafes and eateries. We kinda saw wooyoung from 2PM. But I think we were too tired to go look. Haha. We mostly hung out at cafes for the most part of the day. I think we were too tired from last night to do anything. Samsung DLITE was pretty darn cool though. We started watching totoro, but I intentionally fell asleep, because I was just sooooo tired… gaah. Dieing of tiredness actually. Later we met up with Claire and ate Blueberry Cheese cake bingsu and watched the breakdances again! Gotta catch up with my homework now!!!

Day 42

This was quite the eventful day. We went to the palace, a super big bookstore, a café on the top of the mountain (highly recommend), a really delicious and cheap lunch tray area, express bus terminal underground shopping, myeongdong, and Club Answer in Gangnam.   I must say, the club in gangnam was probably the highlight. We stayed there till 4:30 am. Latest I have ever stayed out before. It was crazy fun!! Plus, we got in for free, so we saved the $30 entry fee. The two guys who put us on the guest list, were super nice and super good looking and tall. Everyone at the club was actually super good looking – girls and guys – They pretty much all look like celebrities. And I swear I saw that girl from you who came from the stars there! So, we pretty much had four rounds of dancing, I think by the last one I was pretty much dead. I was dieing of hunger pretty much… Gaaah, but I had the best time! Haha.

Day 40

Lunch was quite delicious; we ate at quite a classy place in shinchon. Plus, I met new friends, who are actually super nice!! ☺ The guy had really good English too! I did realize that I know nothing about dutch people though, but now I do! Second round of노래방!! My voice was cracking non-stop, but the two guys had REALLY nice voices… why are all Koreans good at singing?! Lol. The place we went was super nice as well and it was only $2. I am surprised they did not add extra time… those guys were so good at singing!! After노래방 I followed them to watch them play guitar. Which was super fun as well, because we ended up playing a game of pingpong and I also learned – ish 2ne1 lonely on the guitar! ☺ Then I waited for Jo at MacDonald’s! Where I had my first affogato. It was not bad. After that, we walked her to her house and had CHICKEN! ☺ it was delicious as always. Then we had Orea Bingsu at POP Container in sinchon. It was a bit pricey, but it was for super delicious.

Day 39

Had Toast for the very first time in Korea. It was DELCIOUS!! We also had bingsu with it, because there was a deal. Hehe. Had a very spontaneous 노래방 session with Claire. I actually went all out with my singing this time and it was super fun!! We sang for like 1 hour and 30 minutes and my voice was so soar afterwards… but such a fun night!! ㅋㅋ

Day 38

Lunch with Rachel and Lucy at Mr.Pizza. It was quite delicious, but it was a bit more expensive… $10. Then we went to the face shop, because there was a big sale and I bought lipstick for JP and a bathball and charcol nose black head strip for myself. I don’t think it worked very well for me, but that’s okay. I have white heads and black heads. The bath ball was very nice though. After I had a group meeting with my criminology group. Then, I met up with claire to go grocery shopping at E-Mart. So we went to Times Square, which was super super nice!! I would come again, and we got a coupon book with a ton of free stuff from the cosmetic shops.  I got free masks, and a bunch of other stuff :) hehe. We also went high class, eating at Mad __?. it was so delicious. gaah. so high class. lol. and only 10$ for a delicious meal! We started actually shopping at emart at 9:10, and it really only took us 30 minutes to grocery shop! i bought a gatorade bottle. ehhehe! :) All in all, today was quite fun!! But i think i have been eating too many pizzas lately. NO MORE. LOL. Also, i want to go to the $5 dokbokgi place. :)

Day 37

Hearthstone tournament! We saw the finals for korea vs china. it was honestly a bit sad that korea lost 4-0, but he was really unlucky… especially the rag having a 1/5 chance of hitting his doomsayer. At the end of the tournament, we got a picture with hearthstone (korean player) and artoisis + doa. woot. oh yeaaa, i saw henry filming a CF in the morning! :) heheh .so many celebrity sightings this  weekend. After that, we tried out pizza hut! Which was not bad at all! It was actually pretty good, but i wouldn’t eat there again since it’s not korean enough for me. haha. Then i went to badminton!! :) Badminton was quite fun, i met a new friend as well, dun chul? After badminton, we went to go eat dinner together! SAMGYUBSAL! :) hehe. Claire and I wanted to go to try some makgori, but it was closed… unfortunately. So i went home and did homework!

Day 36

Finally slept in! For lunch I met up with 한별and we ate  at 미미s. It was delicious! After we shopped around 홍데 and I bought a really cute green bean stuffy for evie. ㅋㅋ. It was quite fun! we also had a delicious chocolate 빙수 dessert! Then we departed and I headed to dongdaemun, where I met up with jasmine, azure, and raymond. I was really excited because we went to The WETA WORKSHOP! hehe. I have wanted to go to this since before I came to korea. And now I finally went. It was really interesting seeing all the figures and art and things like that but I thought it was a bit small to be honest. It was still good though! Then we went shopping at Doota, which was not bad at all. There are just so many shopping places in dongdaemun! We checked out the underground shopping centre for a bit and walked around dongdaemun! We were pretty much waiting for the night market to start... So we ate at a super super cute cafe!!! Ahhh so cute!!! The night market was much more crowded then I expected but we ate a lot of yummmy food... Like dumplings and kimbap! Ahh, I was surprised how good the dumplings were cuz I usually don't like dumplings but they were delicious! Oh, and I saw suzy-ish and a comedian!!

Day 35

I moved places today from yesol to coni house! Coni house is really nice and safe!! ☺ I quite like it here.. it’s just the location is far from all the cool stuff. So hylie helped me move my stuff and I treated her to some delicious bingsu! Then I settled into my new home and left for the soccer game!! PARK JI SUNG. My first soccer game… it was more of a fun soccer game, but the atmosphere was super cool. BEAST PERFORMED THREE SONGS… LIKE WUT?! BEASTTTTTTTT :D

Day 34

Ate lunch and played some Hearthstone! ☺ It was quite fun, because they added new stages and cards.  Then, I went to badminton and had chicken and yangmyun? Anyways, after that we went to the PC BANG again! Haha. But this time I tried played league… it’s such a hard game. Then we played hearthstone and tetris till 2am. Oh god. Lol. YOLO.

Day 33

Started on the criminology group project and ate lunch with lucy and rachael! the place we ate was really delcious and cheap! so i will probably eat there again! hehe. Next, i went to the League of Legends tournament at YongSan Stadium! It was awesome!! I really want to start playing League now, because it looks like a lot of fun! Faker is such a carry! and these boys are all so cute and young! but they are really like 17-23. so like my age. haha. THey are all really skinny though. To be honest the stadium was a bit hard to find for me cuz i went the wrong way, but i got there eventually. It was very unexpecting that we would actually be able to go to their fan meeting!! hehe. I felt so lame but cool at the same time. kekeke. then we took a photo with IMP! kyaah!
