Hearing the word ‘bear’, Carlotta immediately stood up and her voice grew a little tense. “Wh— Where do you see that…”
Tiana pointed to the small forest of trees just in front of her. "I swear I saw it over there somewhere."

"Are the freaky green spiders in the forest poisonous? I think one just bit me."
"They might be, I was never one for this wilderness stuff. C'mon honey let's just get you to a nurse or something. They do have nurses here right?"
"When I get out of here, I’m going straight back… to a classroom at least. I plan on teaching second graders, but back in the States. I can fake French for only so long."
"Oh really? I think that's great, you rarely see people that want to be teachers 'round here, good for you honey. I know you'll do well, all the kids are sure going to love you."
"Your mother sounds very wise. I’m sure she’s extremely proud of you Tiana."

That’s not surprising, my mother loves purple as well, I’ve found that quite a few people that work with clothes and things like the color purple; it’s a wonderful color.
Maybe it's just easier to work with. I've never thought of that, but well I haven't exactly been around any other seamstress besides my mother so that might have something to do with it.

They sound lovely, you can never go wrong with poofy dresses really, they make a girl feel like a princess; and pink is lovely color.

Pasta Salad

1 box rotini pasta (16 ounces) 1 green pepper, chopped 1 red pepper, chopped 1 small cucumber, chopped 5 Roma tomatoes, chopped 1 cup balsamic dressing-we used Maple Grove’s Fat Free Balsamic 10-15 fresh basil leaves, chopped 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese Salt and pepper, to taste directions: 1. In a large pot of boiling water with salt, add the rotini pasta. Cook until al dente. Drain and rinse the pasta with cold water. 2. In a large bowl, add the pasta and vegetables. Stir in the balsamic dressing until pasta noodles and vegetables are well coated. 3. Add basil, parmesan cheese, and salt and pepper, to taste. Stir well. 4. Serve cold.
