The New Guy

The first thing they noticed about the new guy was that he was tall.  And he looked a bit like Harry Potter.

Mark was the new department head of reference.  Some thought that meant they could list him as a reference for a lease or a job, but that wasn’t it (he at least had to get to know people first).  Reference is about connecting people with information, which he had gladly signed on for.  Ask a question, we’ll help you find answers.  The new guy had joined the team

He sat behind the reference desk, displaying himself like a carnival sideshow.  The legends say if you stop by he might say hello and help you.
