i just realized daniel hasn’t sneezed in a while, i guess his allergies have been cured lmao
He was in one of those damn sarcophagus for too long.
Pros: we can now Permanently Cure your Allergies
Cons: from now on you're gonna be just a little bit Evil

Starry Night: Atlantis edition
Who is your favorite among the Four Great Races?
Ancients
Asgard
Furlings
Nox
Go for whatever you like, vibes, looks, lore, language…
I’m seeing people hating on the Ancients in the comments and yeah, they were egotistical and self-centered to a point, but they did legitimately try to help when problems got big enough. They only left the Milky Way because of a plague and then they only left Pegasus when they had literally hundreds of their people left, all the others having died for the cause.
Meanwhile the Nox must be aware of the Goa’uld problem but are too pacifist to actually help. I feel like it goes back to that idea of how not fighting the evil is tacitly accepting the evil. Even if they didn’t want to directly fight the Goa’uld, they could have set up defense systems for helpless worlds. Perhaps it’s the American in me, but how can you say you want peace if you’re not willing to defend it? (Not saying US policies are good either lolol) They could have given their invisibility technology to less advanced races unable to defend themselves.
Us starting coverage of Atlantis seems like a good time to revive my Tumblr after like a year 😂 And generally spending less time on Twitter…

I love them 😭
We recently started Atlantis on the pod and Arezou has no memory of Rodney from SG1 😂
Happy New Year! I'm looking forward to a full year of talking about Stargate on our podcast. It's such a nice passion project to have, and I love being able to share it with people!
I also love the community I've found here on Tumblr and on Twitter too. Stargate fans are just the best people! I'm hoping to start writing my own fanfic this year and join that community as well:)
Thanks for joining us and I hope you'll continue to find joy in our podcast.
Time to see what SG-1 really means to each other in "Bloodlines" and "Fire and Water." Fire and Water features Daniel in a wet shirt, if you
We had a blast talking about relationship dynamics and languages in "Bloodlines" and "Fire and Water". "What fate Omoroca" is one of those line deliveries that sticks in my head even after many years lol

Our pod episode for SG1 S1 Episodes 9&10, Thor's Hammer and The Torment of Tantalus, is live now! We discuss how SG1 needs to get their priorities straight and how we look forward to the development of the Four Great Races.

“Hey, if you’d been listening, you’d know that Nintendos pass through everything.”
This is one of my favorite lines of all SG1!
The Goa'uld about once a year probably:
Image description: a picture of Poe Dameron from Star Wars standing in front of a crowd of people. There's a caption that says "Somehow, Daniel Jackson's returned."
In "Conversion" John talks about how one of the best weeks of his life was when he got his wisdom teeth out and was on Codeine for 7 days, and he's comparing it to the way the retrovirus exposure is making him feel.
As a drug addict, I'm feeling things.
Ford's whole descent into Wraith enzyme addiction spoke to me on another level; it really reminded me of how I acted towards my loved ones in addiction.
And John's realization that the way Ellia's bite is affecting him, how it's making him feel like Ford does, draws a lot of headcanons (and personal memories) to the surface.
This is like Jack telling Daniel he knows how Daniel's feeling when Daniel is detoxing from the Sarcophagus in SG-1 "Need".
There's just so much to unpack. And it's such a blessing to find Relatable moments in comfort characters.
