It's weird how as a kid you look at adults as impossibly old, not even the same species. And then one day you're 25 and you look at the people in the room with you who are all also 25. And you speak with them with basically the same casual tone you used with your teenage friends in school. Because they look young to you now. At some point, adults started looking pretty normal. Besides the perception of age as you grow, I think there's other factors to take into consideration, like how lifestyle has changed between generations.

Alcohol use, indoor smoking and working conditions were different back then and they change the way people look.

Recently learned that the actor on the left, Edgar Vivar, was only 25 when he was playing his famous role as "Sr. Barriga" in mexican sitcom El Chavo del 8, back in the 70's.
