with Hitomi, she is a trans woman who is the main character of my story besides Hitch (transmasc)over time I try to be more delicate with how I draw her gender exploration, as she's a trans woman who isn't dead set on hyper femininity and takes joy wearing baggy clothes/grunge/alt style
I've been told so many times that other trans women and femmes see themselves in Hitomi either with how she presents herself, her fashion, or her racial coding (she is polish and Japanese cat girl) I want Hitomi to be a grounded representation of trans women that aren't often depicted especially with enough care by non transfemme artists.
also I love hearing lil comments abt girls telling me they feel better about their big eyebrows because of her
