Welcome to Anima: Royal Magical Agency, a project I've been working on for three years now!

The story follows Nebula, a magical princess whose family hires and trains magical girls to fight and stop the Neemos, a race of slimy creatures that have been stealing the life source of every living thing.

As the threat of the Neemos grows and magical girls become harder to find, Nebula is on a mission to Earth to find her own magical girls and train them to stop Odachi, the commander of the Neemos. Known across the universe as the Prince of the Void, he has been disrupting the cycle of life that Nebula is sworn to protect as its guardian.

Alongside her friends, Amaru, Olori, Achara, and Vera, Nebula embarks on a treacherous journey filled with love, defeat, friendship and betrayal, while unraveling her powers as the guardian of life.

On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday you have to attend classes and hang out with your friends.

Fridays you join the book club to talk about the romance book you read and your favorite quotes.

Saturdays are band training. You love being the guitarist. Your guitar skills are immaculate.

Sundays your space alien boyfriend visits you. He tells you how much he loves you. You love him even more but... he never wants to kiss you?

Meet my Croatian and Nigerian Magical Girl OCs!

Vera and Olori are two of my favorite dynamics in ARMA.

Vera is from Zagreb (Croatia) and is studying abroad in Toulouse. She wishes to become a famous violonist and make her parents proud.

Olori is from Ibadan (Nigeria) and is studying abroad in Toulouse as well. She studies Environmental Biology even though her real dream is to become a full-time artist.

Their personality contrast a lot. Vera is very laid-back, chill and blunt. She swears a lot, not out of anger, it's her way of holding conversations, they come naturally. She's kind of bad at boundaries however. Olori is shy, quiet, anxious and worries a lot: from the way her hair looks to how she worded a sentence. She's very bad at starting conversations but once she does, you can't get her to shut up.

The Prototypes. The most dangerous Neemos of them all, capable of absorbing multiple life forces on a massive scale when there isn't a magical girl around to absorb. They're fast, they use shadows to travel and they're adaptable, constantly mutating.

Meet Nebula - The Guardian of Life

Princess of Iör, a planet known across the universe for training magical girls. She is destined to become the guardian of life because of her royal blood, her birthright, and her gift.

Nebula is a 15-year-old teenager that was sent to Earth at the age of 8 after her sister's Nink (soul) was stolen. Her mission was initially to find it, but the arrival of Odachi shifted things for her. Her mother wanted her to capture the Prince of the Neemos and protect the cycle of life. So for 8 years, the princess has been fighting Odachi across the galaxy. He always managed to slip away thanks to his minions.

Who is Nebula when she isn't fighting ?

Unapologetically alternative. She's a Black girl with a flashy style dominated by the fuchsia color. Chains, ripped fabric, and dark colors with bright accents. Her human style is a direct contrast to her magical girl attire.

She has a skateboard that she always carries under her arm. Her human uncle gave it to her when she was 9. It's the most precious thing she owns; he taught her every trick he knew.

At school, Nebula is a decent student but daydreams a lot. When she's outside, she trains with her band, where she's a phenomenal guitarist. Her favorite bands are Starset and Dreamcatcher. One gives her cosmic rock epics, and the other gives her dark, dreamy anthems in Korean.

Underneath her chains and her guitar, Nebula is a lover girl. She loves love and reads a lot. She is part of a book club that she goes to every Saturday morning to exchange and share opinions. Her favorite novels are 'Le Grand Meaulnes' and 'Indigo.'

When she's alone, she writes poems to Quasar, the boy she is betrothed to, longing for the day they will finally marry. He visits her every month but never stays long enough.

Despite wanting to return to Iör, Nebula is often conflicted with the love she receives from her human family. Sometimes she forgets she's an alien princess; it's just her and her Caribbean family (Suriname) that she loves so much.

Meet Odachi - The son of the Void

Prince of the Neemos. Successor of the Void itself, he has only one goal: to bring back his parents.

Odachi is a 15-year-old "orphan". He has been at war with the entire universe from the moment he was born. Archnemesis of Nebula, he has been trying to destroy her ever since she started her mission on earth. As the Guardian of the Cycle of Life, Nebula is the reason why Odachi is unable to steal as many Ninks (souls) as he would want to. They've been in this battle for 8 years now.

Who is Odachi when he isn't fighting, though ?

Sarcastic. Deflecting. It's a defense mechanism to cope with his loneliness.

He tells stupid jokes from binge-watching shows like SpongeBob and The Amazing World of Gumball: "You can't trust Nebula as far as you can throw her. And I've thrown her a lot." when he had to team with Nebula to defeat a common enemy.

His disciples, the Neemos, hardly understand his jokes, but he doesn't really care.

Big fan of UMI and Mitski. "Remember Me" and "My Love Mine All Mine" are his favorite songs.

He loves Spy x Family, Lilo & Stitch, and found-family tropes in general.

Being in the Void gave Odachi access to unlimited media across the universe, but he only fixated on Earth.

A.R.M.A: Odachi, Prince of the Void

SCENE 1 : Odachi and his 'parents'

Odachi with two Neemos who raised him. He's pouring something into them. Again and again. His faces worried. But from what? And why does it take so much out of him?

SCENE 2 : Odachi and his real Dad ?

Odachi with his real father. Why is the Void asleep? He sits beside him and wonders when he'll wake up. What sacrifice put him there? Odachi is willing to do anything to bring him back.
