Slow Cooker Queso Verde is a creamy and flavorful dip perfect for parties, game days, or any gathering. It combines the richness of melted white American cheese with the tanginess of salsa verde and the mild heat of green chilies and jalapenos.
Ingredients: 1 lb white American cheese, cubed. 1 cup half and half. 1 4 oz can diced green chilies. 1/2 cup salsa verde. 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro. 1/4 cup diced jalapenos optional. 1 teaspoon cumin. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. Tortilla chips, for serving.
Instructions: Add half-and-half, chopped green chilies, salsa verde, chopped cilantro, diced jalapenos if using, cumin, and garlic powder to a slow cooker. The cheese should be cubed. Stir the mixture every so often for two hours on low heat, until the cheese melts and the sauce is smooth. Warm it up and serve it with tortilla chips to dip it in.
