Bakugou x male!villain!reader
•Bakugou saw you as a perfect friend, even if he did not admit it openly. He thought you were amazing, never judging him and understanding how he felt. Whenever he felt down, destroyed, or just weak, you were always there for him. You were the only one who knew that Bakugou was not as brave and as confident as he seemed. He had insecurities, doubts, and guilt and you knew that. He needed someone to be there for him, someone to listen, and someone to lean on. You were that someone and he felt so grateful to have you, more than you can imagine.
•He thought that you were the perfect friend — someone he could never hope to replace. How could he? He was so grateful for having you. Although he never admitted how much you meant to him, you already knew it. He saw you as his best friend, always inviting you over and always helping you out with your studies.
•He was a bit of a tsundere but that didn't stop him from acting different around you than with other people. You forgot your lunch? He forcefully pushes his inside of your mouth, telling you to eat or you'll be a little midget forever. Feeling stressed? He'd take you out for sparring matches to let your frustration out OR take you to the arcade to just have fun and play around. And if you're good at arcade games then you better believe he'd be so freakin' impressed (Not that he would admit it-). Are your grades not doing good? Well, don't worry! Bakugou will very FORCEFULLY push that knowledge into your brain. ANNND he secretly enjoys spending time with you!
•You honestly thought that you guys were inseparable — that nothing could ever tear you guys apart. He was the only one who listened to you and you were the only one who listened to him. He honestly couldn't ever think he could replace you, EVER. But not all good things last now, do they?
•The moment Bakugou laid his eyes on Kirishima, he truly felt something. Kirishima was so outgoing and fun, not caring about Bakugou's outbursts and supporting him through and through. He clung onto Bakugou all the time and feisty blonde enjoyed his presence a little too much. He always hung out with Kirishima, always turning to him first whenever he needed to vent. He was always walking him to school and the two became inseparable. That's where everything began to just fall apart between the two of you.
•He no longer cared, always leaving you in the dust. He didn't bother to hear about your worries anymore, always telling you that you were being a nuisance. Bakugou never bothered to walk you to the train station anymore or wait for you to finish your afternoon classes. No, instead he was spending time with a certain redheaded male, leaving you in the dust every single time. And over the months, you could feel anger rising up in you.
•Due to desperation and fear of being abandoned, you turned to the one place you could call home. Now, corruption felt like such a lovely place. Solitude was safe and welcoming. But even despite all of that, Bakugou was always in the back of your head. No matter how much you tried to shake the thought of him out of your head, it always came back. Your feelings for him were just simply too strong. And yet despite that, you hid them away.
•Joining the League of Villains was quite easy. Shigaraki saw you as a perfect little candidate. Well-behaved, followed orders, quiet, and overall, never retaliated. You were a perfect little boy. He saw jealousy dripping out of you like venom and he used that against you. Telling you how the Leauge would never do that to you, how they would never replace you. He welcomed you with open arms — everyone in the league did. Upon spending years and years with them, never once had they betrayed you.
•Yet despite all of this, it felt too cold being around them. Bakugou always made you feel warm and welcomed. Yes, he was rough sometimes but he's gentleness and care were real. Bakugou never told you to go solve your problems on your own. He never pushed you away and looked at you weirdly whenever you told him that you were stressed. He supported you. Granted, he was a bit rough but at the end, he always supported you right through until the end.
"Why did this have to happen?"
•Meanwhile with Bakugou never once did he ever forget you. Not a single day passed where he didn't crave your smile, your scent, or your presence. Not a single day passed where he didn't feel so guilty. He would beat himself up every time he saw you on the news. Where had your beautiful smile gone? You looked so sad to him whenever you were on the news. Did you miss him? Probably not. You probably hated him, didn't you? That's good. He deserves it.
•He blames himself for entirely everything that has happened to you. He changes completely as a person throughout the years, becoming more violent and anger-prone, always pushing people away and hurting them, whether it was emotionally or physically. Thankfully, some people support him throughout these harsh times but he will never be the same again. Without you, he feels like his entire life is meaningless. Guilt eats at him every single day, reminded him that HE is the reason as to why you're a villain now. HE is the reason why you're corrupted. It hurts to know that he will never have you back. It hurts to know that he'll never be able to tell you how much he loved you.
Walking down the street, Bakugou held his head low, eyes avoiding the nosy people surrounding him and having to fight back the urge to just cover his ears. It felt like they were whispering about him, judging him and pointing fingers at him. He didn't know where he was going. He just walked and walked, hoping to find some sort of release. He felt so empty, like a part of his soul was snatched away.
He glanced up for a second, almost regretting it a moment later, eyes widening in surprise as he spotted a familiar (H/C)-headed male. He sprung forward without thinking twice, hoping to God and praying that it wasn't just his imagination — that it wasn't just a sick joke. He roughly wrapped his wrists around the male's, watching as his past friend turned around with a look of utter disgust — one that would quickly change into a face of shock and horror.
